Could it be happening now ?

Is the rapture and return of Christ imminent?

Are we about to enter into the time of Jacob’s Trouble , the great tribulation period ?

Every year we get the same hokey stuff.

If it were, we should spending more time with Jesus not Youtube videos.

So Civic my friend....do you believe those things on the videos.
I can see how they come up with them. I'm not a date guy. But I do think there will be signs as Jesus said in Matthew 24 and the wise men from the east saw the signs in the sky ( the star ) which indicated the 1st coming of the Messiah. And it appears there will be similar signs in the heavens that will indicate His 2nd Coming is near. Scripture talks about the Sun , the moon and the stars all having being affected supernaturally in the last days prior to His Return.

Luke 21:25-26. “There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.”

Well we do have at-least 6 members here who have YouTube channels. There is no getting around social media, in fact online forums like this are a form of social media just not video platform but in text/writing which is how we relate to each other. Youtube is more of a monologue whereas here its more a dialogue.

How is spending time on websites that focus on Jesus' Second Coming different from spending time on websites like this one? We are clearly commanded to watch for the Lord's Return, and that certainly doesn't mean that a person should be on those prophecy sites 24/7 ... just as being on websites like this one doesn't mean a person spends all of their time on them ... obviously there needs to be a balance. However, it is clear that to do away with the study of end time prophetic scriptures altogether runs counter to Christ's scriptural commands.

In other words, if spending time on Christian websites that exclude end time prophecies = spending time with Jesus ... I fail to understand how spending time on end time prophecy sites does not = spending time with Jesus.

Amen !!!

We are to be ready for His Return 24/7. His Return has always been Imminent- hence His Imminent return. Jesus in so many of His parables taught this and so did His Apostles.

Revelation 3:3, " Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. ****If therefore thou shalt not watch****, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Jesus certainly took this "Rapture watching thing" very seriously ... do we???

Amen ! When we are being watchful it has a direct effect on how we live for Him- We are preparing ourselves much like the bride awaiting her husbands return.

Do the increase in deadly earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, droughts, hurricanes, tornado's, fires etc......... play any role in our day ?

And also modern day Israel becoming a nation in 1948 and their land being central with future prophecies that preclude armageddon and all the nations that come against her before His return, the time of Jacobs trouble ?

What about the U.N. this week meeting to sign a 7 year agreement ?

Coincidence ?

Is everything happening now just a coincidence ?

Yah, I just love it when the preterists claim that Israel's restoration to Statehood in 1948 was just a "lucky or fortunate coincidence" ... wow, just wow! ... really??

I know or His return happened in 70ad and we are in the millennium and satan has been bound all this time.

Yah, the amillennialist appears to be presently living in an entirely metaphorical world ... one in which nothing literally exists, but one in which everything can be spiritualized away ... wouldn't that be wonderful?? ... talk about living in the matrix! --- lol

Yes thats my biggest problem is spiritualizing all the literal prophecies in scripture, peoples and places.

We all face the uncertainty of our troubled generation, we need the priceless counsel of the Word of God. We need it more than ever because it provides a firm foundation even when the world seems as though it couldn't get any crazier.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. John 14:1

John 14 is packed full of encouragement. As I feel the anxiety of these times, I get a lot of peace from the promise that Jesus gave to His disciples—that includes you and me—in the Upper Room. He told them that He would never leave them without comfort:

“The Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:25–27
