Confessing Christ

There is no meaningful distinction between what you just described and Unconditional election.
False. Unconditional election is where God chooses certain individuals to be saved, which amounts to fatalistic determination. I hold to the view of conditional election, in which God chooses for eternal salvation those whom he foreknows will exercise their free will to respond to God's grace with faith in Christ. Big difference.
You just simply stated what unconditional election is and then claimed you don't believe it.
I don't believe in unconditional election and to say that I do is a lie.
I'll believe what your words equal. Your self assessment doesn't matter.
I'm really not interested in any more of your slanderous remarks, and I'm done wasting my time with you.

I could not disagree with you more. There is actually a big difference.

No. Not at all. You see.... people don't mind being inconsistent. If you consistently apply any point of the 5 points of Calvinism. That logical systematic system will always lead to all 5 points. The WCF and other confessions are consistent with their own delusional position. Even though they do not agree with one another. The only real common delusion to be found in Calvinism is TULIP. We can take this trip if you like. I can prove it.

Proving this point to who? Yourself? You have proven absolutely nothing to me so far and I really don't expect that to change.

You are not the standard of proof. Your self judgement is compromised.

Your obsession with Calvinism has reached the point of absurdity. No thanks.

Deflecting...... I have no obsession with a lie. I do have an obsession with the Truth. I attack Calvinism for basically three reasons.

1. It dishonors our Lord Jesus Christ.
2. It prevents men from being saved.
3. It feeds self delusion.

I really don't care what you think and I'm tired of your false accusations.

We all will stand before God. I'm not your judge but I can discern what you say to be true or not in comparison to the Scriptures and Godly reason.

You're blending positions and don't even realize it. You stated previously that God draws all the elect to Himself. Are you changing your mind now?

C.S. Lewis's compromise doesn't change anything. You're just repeating the claims of others.

Again. Your words equal "Unconditional Election". It doesn't matter if you claim otherwise. We must live in realty. When you claim that all the "elect" are going to come Christ, you're preaching unconditional election.

All you want to do is fight, argue and falsely accuse. You certainly are not my judge and I'm really not interested in your eisegesis or your slander. You sound like a troll.

More slander. Stop wasting my time.

I have 3787 posts here (with this comment) I'm not a troll. Do you consider such claims without evidence "slander" of do you not teach yourself?

I can read your words. You're denying what you've stated.

Many people claim their not wrong when they're obviously wrong. What you post is what is important. You've claimed that God DRAWS all the elect to himself. Is that not what you said?

God draws all men. Those words do not equal the same position.

I sound you "sound" like a troll which means you are acting like one. It doesn't necessarily mean you officially are a troll. I know people who have moments where they act like jerks, but in general they are not jerks.

God's drawing is not limited and man still needs to respond. No fatalistic determination for a select few. You are too obsessed with Calvinism and are too anxious to pin that label on me. It doesn't seem to matter what I say because you will draw your own biases conclusions regardless.

You still believe that the elect are drawn to Christ and all those will be saved. Your appeal is no different that Unconditional Election. Claims of Fatalistic Determinism doesn't change anything about that fact.

Calvinists vary in the details (Various aspects of Determinism) but it is the same conclusion nonetheless.

I actually believe that many that are drawn never get saved. I don't believe time is limited. I believe it is endless. That creates a meaningful distinction. You're not there. You don't have a meaningful distinction to the contrary. Same result for you only. Unconditional Election.

You and I will most likely never come to an agreement. Goodbye.
