No, Augustine taught those false doctrines and later Calvin adopted them. Jesus and His apostles never taught such heresy.

Sure did. I learned how twisting as scripture to meet your wants can form an entirely new belief system.....
I especially enjoyed the way "they" defined foreknowledge as meaning predestined.......
and so much more/..... The Dutch Reformed Church sponsoring this certainly used the Westminster Confession of faith in every point.... and this was in 1618-1619 yet the Westminster Confession of Faith did not come around until 1646.... However to be fair...

yes tulip is the opposite of good news, its bad news for the world in which Christ made atonement for as per John 3:16 and 1 John 2:2.

Calvinism is not the Gospel, but it explains what the Gospel is and how applies towards us as lost sinnerds
Faith is part of that "salvation package" from God towards His own

Yes they are the Gospel, they explain how and why Salvation is by Grace and how God saved sinners in the person and work of Christ. Its the Gospel of the Grace of God Acts 20 24
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Men have just placed contempt on the Gospel by calling it Calvinism

Some Calvinists prefer the Westminster Confession. Some unlearned Calvinists will insist they say the same things. I once took pleasure in pointing out their differences. Alias, I grew up and realized that the real issue is the individual.
Every Calvinist has a very real problem with resisting God. It is often not very difficult to establish that fact with the individual. They avoid who they like the plague.
