Bible Problem

You know, I would love to give the Highly Spurious edition of the bible a try, is it for sale yet?
Hi and thanks for the reply! All the modern translations (except the NKJV) are derived from the older spurious manuscripts. These manuscripts (Vaticanus, Sinaiticus, Alexandrinus) were recently found but are only three (they are in much opposition to the Traditional texts which uses, not three, but 5500 manuscripts); and the theologians that prefer them are due mostly because of there age. The early scribes and theologians within the Christian Church wouldn't copy due to the numerous errors derived from the many omissions, often transpositions and interpolations.

It seems to me when you chose a certain
translation or version of the Bible it will lead you down a certain theological road you might not want to travel on.
I defiantly see this within the modern translations, but one can choose the correct translation, because you must use one.

Okay, I must've read a highly spurious translation already then. Thanks for the info.

The new world translation has fixed it.

Alexandrinus is a treasure of humanity. I'm not going to entertain the person you're speaking to because he knows very little about subject.

There is no comparison of Alexandrinus vs Sinaiticus/Vaticanus.

There are only a hand full of readings in the MT that are superior to the Greek OT. Only a handful. Lets educate @koberstein

The MT is no later than the 10th century and is written in a script that is not original to the Paleo-Hebrew script wherein the origins of the Hebrew OT came. The current block scripts Hebrew has changed significant from the 1st century AD through to the 10th century AD and is NOT the best example to be found of the OT. The Greek OT extant in Alexandrinus is far superior to the MT. I can prove it. The modern Hebrew language merged within other Ancient Semitic languages such as Aramaic and other regional dialects.

I look forward to your response. I was where you are now 35 years ago. I hope I can help with you expanding your knowledge.

I use the Messianic version or the Tree of Life version for reading and study.
Check 2 passages for problems. If these 2 problems are present then much of the translation is spurious: 2Sam 21:19 is suppose to read "Elhanan killed the brother of Goliath." The errant translations say "Elhanan killed Goliath." The other verse is 1JN 5:7, which is the primary Trinity passage and is omitted in the modern translations (except the NKJV).

The Alexandrinus is also a false translation as it has the same dating as the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus (4th and 5th centuries).

Who made you the Bible police? Still trying to pick fly crap out of pepper.
Sh'mu'el Bet 21:19
There was more war with the P'lishtim at Gov; and Elchanan the son of Ya'arei-Orgim, the Beit-Lachmi,
killed Golyat the Gitti, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver's beam.

First, of all you will never be where I am at. You credibility is defunct with your meaningless opinions, and we know what
opinions are? The only knowledge you need to expand on is biblical truth not here say opinions muddled with a very
small grain of truth. You will never change me into a ignorant pagan gentile like you, so stop trying. I vastly know more
than you in a general sense and on biblical Truth.

What drugs are you on? oh I forgot your the Bible police. How's that working out for you? Make any arrests?

If you own a KJV or a NKJV you probably need to drop it in a dumpster somewhere.
I did that with mine. The only thing spurious is the people on here trying to make
a major federal case out of something that is nothing.

The NWT is a corrupted translation like the others, and was published by the Jehovah Witnesses! Check the passages I presented to koberstein at post #87.
The darkness says the NWT is no good, because it exposes the darkness as false religion. God inspired his name in his bible in over 7000 places. Why? Because he wants it there.= his will. Wicked men by satans will removed his name to mislead. = satans will. The religion that has Jesus uses a translation backing Gods will. the darkness uses translations backing satans will.

The word is NOT called capitol G God at John 1:1 in the Greek lexicons.

That would be a pretty funny campaign to get people to read bibles!

Throw it in the dumpster, then take a pic.

Post it on social media, I didn't want this garbage KJV, you don't either.

People might start looking in dumpsters for bibles ...

nah that would never happen, was just an amusing scenario.

Why would people dive into a dumpster for a bad translation
of a Bible? Who knows maybe they are from your church trying
to channel Jim Jones or David Koresh.
