Baptism "en" the Holy Ghost

Well then he must have a problem with

Acts 8:12–17 (LEB) — 12 But when they believed Philip as he was proclaiming the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were being baptized. 13 And Simon himself also believed, and after he was baptized he was keeping close company with Philip. And when he saw the signs and great miracles that were taking place, he was astonished. 14 Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, 15 who went down and prayed for them so that they would receive the Holy Spirit. 16 (For he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 17 Then they placed their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.

and

Acts 19:1–6 (LEB) — 1 And it happened that while Apollos was in Corinth, Paul traveled through the inland regions and came to Ephesus and found some disciples. 2 And he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said to him, “But we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit!” 3 And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “Into the baptism of John.” 4 And Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people that they should believe in the one who was to come after him—that is, in Jesus.” 5 And when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them and they began to speak in tongues and to prophesy.
Probably. But then again... I have found too often people just do not understand what they read and all it takes is someone who actually sounds like they know what they are talking about that gets too many who will gloss over, even scriptures, when reading multiple times because they are certain only they are correct based on the one they heard and them they understood.

I say gloss over because this one missed when I said I was baptized... in the name of all 3.... before the Holy Spirit came into me. I should have said decades later.....

I know this because they started their diatribe against me with
There are a few people who do care what the Bible says on the subject of salvation and water baptism instead of putting personal biases before what the Bible says.
God has commanded water baptism to all men, disciples are made by water baptism, disciples are to administer water baptism, Mt 28:19-20.

(Does it not make your heart ache for those who have never been able to have a water baptism due to location or even physical infirmities.)

He continues
I could call faith onlyists a cult but just name calling does not prove anything. I show from the Bible where faith only is a corrupt invention of man whereby men try and change the Bible to fit that invention.

Sheesh..... If Jesus told Nick that the water was flesh... which he basically did and what counted was spirit..... I guess he does not believe even Jesus. Must have been taught by a Pharisee.............?

5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

6.That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.

7Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

8The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.”

Jesus even said this to Nick... 10Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things?

Then, you should be very thrilled that in eternity you will stand no chance of seeing me.

After all. I said I had a water baptism. I was baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. But the knowing that one gets to definitively know that one is saved never happened until I had my spiritual rebirth and the Holy Spirit filled me.

Now, you have judged me as not saved. You have seen and judged me as not worthy. Evidently you believe if one is filled by the Holy Spirit after
one has their baptism that nullifies the baptism.

As of this moment you are Αγνοηθεί
Those not water baptized will be the ones in flaming fire for God has chosen water baptism the means by which He saves (Mt 28:19-20; Mk 16:16; Acts 2:38; Col 2:11-12; Rom 6:3-5; 1 Pet 3:21, 1 Cor 1:12-13)

in flaiming fire taking vengeance upon those who... OBEY NOT the gospel of Christ. 2 Thess 1:8

2 Thess 1:8; Heb 5:9 show obedience is the separating line between the saved and lost .....not faith alone, not a sinner's prayer, not by some spirit baptism but obedience to the gospel in being water baptized where a death burial and resurrection only take place. Again Acts 2:41 those who received the word were water baptized meaning those who rejected the gospel word wee not baptized. Hence being baptized is HOW men receive the word of God and not being water baptized is rejecting the word of God. God has command all men to be water baptized and in no sense can it be said that not obeying that command to be water baptized is receiving God's word.

(Does it not make your heart ache for those who have never been able to have a water baptism due to location or even physical infirmities.)
The mode or the amount of water was never a concern

Baptism has been administered by sprinkling, pouring and what is called immersion (in reality submersion and emersion)

The Holy SPirit, the Comforter, was a promise only made to the Apostles, not a promise made to anyone today. While Jesus was still in the world with the Apostles, He was their Comforter. Yet Jesus knew he would soon leave to return back up to His Father and He would leave those APosltes with "another Comforter" (Jn 14:7,16).
The Comforter was the means by which those Apostles were inspired in what they spoke and wrote....
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (Jn 14:26). No one today has been given the Comforter thereby miraculously inspired as those Apostles. No one today is being inspirationally being taught directly by the HS nor inspirationally have all things to their remembrance.
Totally absurd

The Father's promise of the Spirit is seen here

Ezekiel 36:26–27 (NASB95) — 26 “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.

Ezekiel 11:19–20 (LEB) — 19 And I will give to them one heart, and a new spirit I will give in their inner parts. And I will remove their heart of stone from their body, and I will give to them a heart of flesh, 20 so that they may walk in my statutes, and they will keep my regulations, and they will do them, and they will be to me a people, and I myself will be to them as God.

John 4:9–14 (LEB) — 9 So the Samaritan woman said to him, “How do you, being a Jew, ask from me water to drink, since I am a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) 10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you had known the gift of God and who it is who says to you, ‘Give me water to drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” 11 The woman said to him, “Sir, you have no bucket and the well is deep! From where then do you get this living water? 12 You are not greater than our father Jacob, are you, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, and his sons and his livestock?” 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again. 14 But whoever drinks of this water which I will give to him will never be thirsty for eternity, but the water which I will give to him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

John 7:38–39 (LEB) — 38 the one who believes in me. Just as the scripture said, ‘Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.’ ” 39 (Now he said this concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were about to receive. For the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.)

without the Spirit you do not belong to Christ

Romans 8:9 (LEB) — 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, this person does not belong to him.

Not any verse you cited speak anything about baptism with the HS. THe one baptism of Eph 4:5 is WATER baptism hence the baptism of the great commission that saves, that is how disciples are made is where disciples (humans) have been given the commission from God to go teach a and baptize and humans can only administer water baptism as Paul administer water baptism to Corithians (1 Cor 1:14,16) and Phillip water baptized the eunuch. Neither those Corintians nor the eunuch were baptized with the HS proving your idea to be wrong. No verse promises anyone today baptism with the HS.

===========================================

In Acts 2 Peter quoted Joel's prophecy
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:"

"All flesh" does not mean God would pour out of His Spirit up every single person universally nor upon animals for animals have flesh. Back at that time, they divided mankind into two groups, Jew and Gentile hence "all flesh", mankind was made up of Jews and Gentiles. In Acts 2 the Apostles were baptized with the HS and they were Jews. In Acts 10 Cornelius was baptized with the HS and he was a Gentiles.....hence GOd pour out of His Spirit upon Jew and Gentile (all flesh) fulfilling Joel's prophecy. Joel's prophecy having been fulfilled means God's promise to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh has been fulfilled back in the first century. Hence no one today has been promises a baptism with the HS that was fulfilled in the first century and is no longer. This is why in every single case of conversions in the book of Acts involved water baptism in order to save men and make disciples of men per the great commission and not baptism with the HS.

Cornelius being baptized with the HS had NOTHING to do with His personal salvation, he would have been saved anyway when he was water baptized even if he had not been baptized with the HS. The purpose God baptized a Gentile with the HS was to prove to the Jews salvation was not meant for the Jew but also the Gentiles, hence the Jewish Apostles were to take the gospel of salvation to the Gentiles even though they did not want to. Peter was given a vision that God had made the Gentiles clean, and God baptizing Cornelius proved to the Jews salvation was for the Gentiles. In Acts 11 when Peter told the Jews in Jerusalem of these two things God did, then the Jews understood salvation was not just for the Jew but to also go to the Gentile....."When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life."

=============================

Context matters and in the context of John, it was the Apostles to whom Christ promised 'another Comforter', hence not anyone today was promised the Comforter for no one today has been miaculously endowed to be inspired as those Apostles were. Eze 36 about God giving a new heart and spirit does not involve baptism with the HS for those Jews in Act 2 were not baptized with the HS but instead were water baptized. They were made Christians per the great commission by being taught the gospel and water baptized by disciples/humans. Again, not one of the verses you cite speaks anything about baptism with the HS.....you are assuming that idea into the text in a bad attempt to get around the necessity of water baptism.
