A question just to start things off.

Seriously, today is my first day and I was hoping to be around some fun-loving Christians. We should be making a Joyful Noise not murmuring and complaining. This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it. God loves me!!!:D
Some say when it comes to theology what's Love Got to Do with It. Actually, quite a bit.

In every act and thought of God there is love. Every command he ever uttered, every law he ordained, every precept he laid down—anything and everything that ever came from God is an expression of his infinite love. It is more the nature of God to love than for the sun to give light. The sun may ultimately become cold and dark, but God’s love will never dim or fade.

Some may find it hard to understand why God loves. Multitudes have asked, “Does God love me?” There is nothing the devil would have you doubt more than the fact that God loves you. You can believe in God and be lost. You can believe in the blood, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit; but unless you believe in the love of God you will go on in sin and finally land in torment where there is no love.

I see what's happening there's actually nothing connected to "Discussion of controversial topics" I have a couple of things going on at the moment but I'll make sure I get to that one Today

I set up a Forum as the parent "Discussion of controversial topics" Click it And now there are threads Well there's one thread, With no post yet. And you can start all the threads you'd like.

Hope this helps!

The question is frequently asked today: “What is the core of what one must believe in order to be a Christian?”
Romans 10:9-13 [CSB] 9 If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on him will not be put to shame, 12 since there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord of all richly blesses all who call on him. 13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
  • BELIEF results in right standing with God (the essence of Ephesians 2:8-9).
  • CONFESSION results in "healing" (the Aramaic word for saved and healed are interchangable, so "salvation" is a healing of our soul, of our relationship with the Father) ... "healing" begins with acknowledging the "healer/savior" as our God.

yes, but you have to be careful with humor here. I have been brutally attacked when I thought I was making a funny post
You're absolutely right you do have to be careful with humor. Especially when humor is used like in a sarcastic way. But there's nothing humorous about a brutal attack. And that's my main job here is to try to keep that to a bare minimum. Although I do have the book "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie I still need help in this area. My all-time favorite quote was from the late great Rodney King. The guys Was videotaped being brutally beat down By the LAPD. Witnesses the Young Justice for all of them walking free. And still gives us the advice "can't we all just get along"?

Sounds like our Lord and savior to me.

God delivered Jesus to those who wanted to kill him. but it was Jesus Himself who released His own Spirit. He said nobody takes my life, I give it up.
