Some people will go to the grave clinging stubbornly to the blatantly false.
Whole time thinking surely they are doing God's will....
And, that everyone else is a "heretic."

In spite of what you insist in not believing?
That is the sin nature/flesh at work......
Also, its called not being controlled and led of the Spirit as God would have it.

Yet... some actually felt led of the Spirit when what they choose to believe is contradicted by Scripture.
That is why we are told to test the spirits..
For they will show us things that will seem right to our own way of thinking. They analyze us.
Tell us what seems right until the Word of God comes in and contradicts what we desire to believe.

That is how God is fair. He will eventually show us the error of our way for us to make a choice about.

There is a way which seems right to a person, But its end is the way of death." ​

And of course you have never had any error in your beliefs since yours are the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God right ?

I have been there. I found myself humiliated... And, then thankful for being corrected. Fearful to find out how easy it is to be wrong and think I was right.

Then God was able to work in me some more that before had no room for His Word.
