I don’t interpret it as God dying, which is why I said that the title First and Last has no bearing on deity. First and last refers to a beginning and end of something, God doesn’t have a beginning and end, in the general sense.Yes, if you interpret it to refer to the Almighty God, you also made the Father died, the same Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and the First and Last in Rev 22:13. Also in Isaiah 41:4.

Joh 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Amen on John 17:3. That’s what we are quoting all day every day. The Father is indeed the only true God so that rules out Jesus.
