Nothing contradicts Jesus assertion here Jn 6:44 especially He wouldn't contradict Himself, He doubled down in Vs 65

Again regeneration (new life) is given at the reception of the Spirit

God is not causing unbelievers to believe

Thats the regenerated, thats why they can be taught of God, and its a child of God, God is their Father Jn 6:44 Jn 6:45 is a prophecy from Isa 54 13

13 And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
