Why I don’t believe or accept the trinity.

SHEESH.

DEFLECTION AT ITS BEST.... YOU DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION see post 682

According to you here is another falsehood in the bible.... Mathew
“She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

But not really.... here is the reason....

You're really reaching at this point. God can save through Jesus as John 3:16-17 says and Jesus can participate in the saving as the sacrificial lamb without one person being the other. John 1:29-30 says the Lamb is a man. God isn't a man or the son of man.

Numbers 23
19God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

@Runningman

JESUS says to you: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life."

Same as Isaiah said by the Holy Spirit: "Look to ME and be saved"

Same as JESUS says:
For it is My Father’s will that everyone
who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life,
and I will raise him up at the last day.”
Jesus gives life because the Father gave Jesus the power to give eternal life. Jesus didn't inherently have this power until the Father gave it to him. When are you going to believe?

John 17
2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

@Runningman

OK, let us start with chapter 1 in Revelation

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

What do you see here???
I see the Lamb who John said is a man in John 1:29-30.

Revelation 1:8 isn't about Jesus. Look at Revelation 1:4 where the one "who is and who was and who is to come" is not the same person as Jesus in verse 5. The one "who is and who was and who is to come" in Revelation 1:8 is not Jesus, but rather is God Almighty, the Father. There aren't any modern Bible that make Revelation 1:8 in red letters anymore because it isn't Jesus talking.

Revelation 1
4John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood

I really hope this is helping you!

John 17

JESUS says, You have given Him/JESUS power over all flesh!, that HE/JESUS should give eternal life......
So now let us TOGETHER see who has Eternal Life

Let us read together this passage of Truth: John 17:1-5

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,
2as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.
3And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
4I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.
5And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

verse 2 - JESUS gives Eternal Life to those whom the FATHER gives to JESUS

verse 3 - All who desire Eternal Life MUST 'know' TWO = the FATHER and JESUS CHRIST

If you say, i know God, but you do not worship the Son, your testimony is false!

verse 5 VALIDATES the above statement: Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.
5
And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself,

with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

Two questions and a 3rd TRUE or FALSE question

1.) When did God come to earth? = "who was and is and is to come"

2.) Where in scripture does it say: "God is coming"

3.) CORRECT/TRUTH grammar says: Verses 5-7 is the introduction and identification of Him who is speaking in verse 8.

The Father gave Jesus the power to give eternal life. John 17:2

The Father is the only true God. John 17:3

Means Jesus isn't God.

Not sure how your questions are relevant nor sure why you you are assigning these questions to me. Feel free to explain your point rather than leading me somewhere.

Back to my point, I have already explained Revelation 1:4-8 to you. The only one identified as "Him who is and was and is to come" in verse 4 is God Almighty in verse 8. Verse 5, says "and Jesus Christ" because he isn't God Almighty.

Jesus isn't God anywhere in the Bible. That's what I keep trying to show you. Look here.

Revelation 21
22But I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

The Father gave Jesus the power to give eternal life. John 17:2

Changing scripture by omitting/adding/changing words is your foundation.

Have you ever read this: Proverbs 30:5-6

Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
Do not add to His words,
Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

How many LORDs in the OT scriptures?

Not the word but the Actual Person called LORD.

Incredible. Now you have reached the point of false accusations. That's not a good look for you because I didn't change anything. Look here at what I wrote compared to Scripture. You don't need to say sorry to me, just say sorry to God when you have time.

The Father gave Jesus life. John 5:26.
John 5
26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
The Father gave Jesus the power to give eternal life. John 17:2
John 17
2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

The Father is the only true God. John 17:3
John 17
1These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

John 5
26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

John 17
2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

John 17
1These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

When are you going to believe?
Start here:

Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
DO NOT leave out a single word

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

Everything the FATHER does and has(Eternal Life) the Son has also - Equality

the FATHER is Commanding you to His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ

There is only One Lord who gives Eternal Life = the Lord Jesus Christ

It’s easy to identify who is speaking / posting by the power and insight from the Holy Spirit and who is not such as @Studyman and @Runningman.

They do not glorify Jesus above all and do not bring Him praise or glorify to Him. They refuse to glorify the Son. This is a litmus test to tell who is being led by the Holy Spirit and who is being guided by the flesh, carnal mind apart from the Spirit. They dishonor the Son.

Sanctify them in TRUTH- THY WORD is TRUTH. The Word of God is Truth. When the Comforter ( Holy Spirit ) comes He will guide you into all truth- Gods word- the TRUTH. The Holy Spirit ALWAYS points a believer To Christ alone.

So from Jesus own words- the TRUTH you do not testify to the Son so I know you do not speak from the Spirit since you do not glorify the Son as Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would do. You only see the Father worthy of glory, honor, praise and worship. The Holy Spirit honors the Son. He points people to the Son, not the Father.

John 15:26
New King James Version
“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

English Standard Version
“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

John 16:13-15
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

1 Corinthians 12:1-3
Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2 You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

hope this helps !!!

The Father gave Jesus the power to give eternal life. John 17:2

The Father gave Jesus life. John 5:26.

The Father is the only true God. John 17:3

Means Jesus isn't God.
And Jesus is not God's son.... Only Adopted because with the Trinity false... God sent His one helper to visit Mary.

I have explained this adnauseum elsewhere in these threads.

Therefore...

The Father gave Jesus the power to give eternal life. John 17:2

The Father gave Jesus life. John 5:26.

The Father is the only true God. John 17:3

Means Jesus isn't God.
John 17: says he was give authority, not eternal life since life is found in Him as the source- John 1:4
John 5 says both the Father/Son have life in Themselves.
John 17:3- has both the Father/Son Equal in Eternal Life- another passage showing Jesus equality with God
The above means He is God.

next fallacy

You're not speaking from the Holy Spirit with your false doctrines and false accusations. It's already apparent from the fruit you bear that you are just here to mislead others and slander the actual Christians while quoting scripture to make it seem spiritual and pious. I see right through it my friend.

John 17:1-3 grammatically means Jesus isn't God. The subject and predicate are in agreement that as Jesus prayed to the Father, he referred to Him as the only true God. Check mate. This passage debunks Trinitarianism.

"New birth" seems to be something Pentecostals say. Is that what your religion is and are you of the Oneness variety?
