Sorry, but if dead men who are hostile to God cannot do anything but believe had God selected them,
then they would be unable to apostatize after having been made a regenerated relational believer contrary to scripture
The shipwreck or failure of ones faith shows it was not a faith irresistibly given by God

They can't do anything unless they are given Life by the Spirit. Faith is the fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22
