Unrecognized Sin

Sin is all round us. I believe we can rightfully agree upon this fact. It is also a fact that men can't often see sin in themselves that they easily recognize in others.

With this thought "in mind".

I would like to start a list of sin that are not often recognized as such.

Once we hear something. Once you see something. There is an impression made upon your human brain. Words and "images" leave lasting impressions upon our minds. Impressions that are physically stored in our brains and easily accessible to thought.

We often sin because of our environment alone. Even after we get "saved". God doesn't remove these "impressions". We have to learn to live with them. It can be a difficult process. A life long attempt to correct our own experiences in our minds. It is why drug addicts often return to drugs. They literally have a physical dependency. Same is true of physical impairments of the flesh. One the best preacher I ever heard preach in my life.... committed suicide due to his physical mental problems. This flesh is weak. Thank God such is targeted to be changed in the Resurrection.

Paul taught technics that will help us avoid such sins by recommending that we....

Eph 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Also, never forget. It is a trait of a "Christian" to forgive ......

Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Silence is sin.............

Eze 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

1Co 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

Compliance is not a enough to please God. You have to believe in what you're doing personally. Many people keep commandments they HATE.

example.

1Co 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

Rom 14:23 But he that doubteth is condemned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith; and whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Willingness is always required in all things we do. ALL things.

1Co 9:17 For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward. But if I do it unwillingly, I am entrusted with a responsibility.
1Co 9:18 What then is my reward? That when I preach the gospel I may offer the gospel free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights in the gospel
