There isn't a single Calvinist here that actually believes in Sola Scriptura....

With all these appeals to "Personal Revelation"..... you think all the forum Calvinists would abandon the farcical claim to judgement solely based upon the Scripture....

Why the farcical claims?

Calvinists do have the tendency to allow their subjective presuppositions to trump the objective truths of the Bible. That always happens whenever the Bible exposes their falsehoods.

You mean like, "God is love, and a loving God would never do what scripture just said He plainly did?"

You ask the wrong question from a humanistic vantage point. Your presuppositions are in your question.

Lets ask the biblical questions about God.

God is love. Does God act unloving ? yes or no
God is Just. Does God act unjustly ? yes or no
God is Holy. Does God act unholy ? yes or no
God is Righteous. Does God act unrighteous ? yes or no

hope this helps !!!

Unfortunately, in Calvinism the answer to all has to be yes

Provisionists screaming about presuppositions is hilarious. Let's start with Libertarian Free will. The lynch pin of their theology.
The "presupposition" God is love can be found in the bible

The idea God meticulously determined everything is not

That was not what I was talking about was it? I mentioned libertarian free will that you presuppose. All the while you and your hero scream about Calvinist presuppositions. It's called hypocrisy.

The presupposition that "a loving God would not do X" is nowhere found in the Bible.
I believe everything in the bible, every word, every jot and title. Everything about God in the bible, just not your spin on God. I believe what God has said about Himself, what Jesus has said about the Father and himself- what they have said about the Holy Spirit etc.....

I use to believe just like you but no longer as God is different from how calvin and the reformers had described Him.

I have reformed myself from those reformers just like they did from the RCC.

The reformation needs to be reformed once again. They are not the end all when it comes to Theology. They got some things right and some things wrong. Thats the danger when one is locked into a specific systematic theology.

hope this helps !!!

Free will appears in the bible

Meticulous determinism of all things does not
