The Jewishness of the Christian Faith

Jesus was born under the Torah of the tribe of Judah, he was circumcised on the 8th day, and he set a sinless example for us to follow of how to practice Judaism by walking in sinless obedience to the Torah.
Christianity started as soon as God created Eden, and continued after the fall, with Christ and God both present with God's Hebrew people all through their time on this current earth. At no time were God's people Jewish, and even the editor of the jewish encyclopedia states that the hebrews were not jewish, this being a later development and peoples, per the jewish multivolume encyclopedia. Christianity always has been, since Eden was created and after she fell. Judaism is a different religion and Christians do not need to practice Judaism. Sure, later translations placed the word jewish into bibles. Also, sure, pharisees existed in scripture... on proof is that almost half of God's prophets were murdered. I guess the establishment did not like what God had to say to His Hebrew people. And, later, almost half of the apostles also murdered. True, the jews murdered Christ at the cross... these being pharisees hidden among the hebrews pretending to belong to God.

Christ and christianity are not jewish.
Hello @eve,

The Lord Jesus Christ was born a Jew. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. His ministry was also to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He is Israel's Kinsman Redeemer. He will one day sit on the throne of David and reign. There is much more that could be said.

In Christ Jesus
Chris

correct, Paul identify himself for the Jews sake to believe as even the gentiles also believe. Paul had a dual citizenship. Roman, from birth in Tarsus?

Christianity has nothing to do with being a Jew or Gentile.

Well, according to the NT thousands and thousands of Jews were born-again daily. God has no covenant with non-Hebrew Gentiles and is not obligated by any promises by Him to save them.

yes, many knowing only John's baptism, and Moses Law.

101G.
Baptism doesn't save neither does the Law. Jews were saved because God promised to save them through covenant.

As long as God's promised to save Abraham and his seed Israel was covered.

God never promised to save non-Hebrew Gentiles or anyone with whom He has made no promise to save.

As I said, the NT records JEWS being saved, NOT non-Hebrew Gentiles.

ERROR, 1 Peter 3:21 "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:"

now please tell us how one, "answer of a good conscience toward God?". your answer please.

salvation through a new .... Covenant, yes, for "ALL NATIONS". Genesis 17:4 "As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations." Genesis 17:5 "Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee."

Genesis 17:9 "And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations." Genesis 17:10 "This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised."

seed meaning "ONE", ... Christ, supportive scripture, Galatians 3:14 "That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:15 "Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto." Galatians 3:16 "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ."

You quote the Scripture, but it goes over your head. Peter provides the answer in this verse.

Water baptism: putting away the filth of the flesh.

Spirit baptism: good conscience.

It's the Spirit baptism that saves and Israel was getting saved by the thousands every day since Pentecost. Nowhere does God have a salvation covenant with non-Hebrew Gentiles as He does with Abraham and his seed.
If you're going to say non-Hebrew Gentiles can get saved - which I know you believe - then you believe that Jesus changed the Law and thereby destroyed the Law.
But that can't be for God made no covenant with non-Hebrew Gentiles for their deliverance from sin as He did with Abraham and his seed. God saves through covenant and God has covenant with Israel. They are His Bride and Church and Jesus died according to the Law for only them - NOT non-Hebrew Gentiles. Jesus fulfilled the Law, He didn't change it which is the same as destroying the Law.
But by saying you believe Jesus saves non-Hebrew Gentiles - and there's no covenant between God and this people - then you are teaching Jesus changed the Law of Moses thus destroying the Law of Moses and you make Jesus a sinner.
NO ONE can change the Law of Moses. For hundreds of years while God was temporarily atoning for yearly sacrifice the sins of Israel while for hundreds of years non-Hebrew Gentiles who have no covenant were being born and dying by the millions without Christ.
If you're going to say God saves non-Hebrew Gentiles, then prove it with Scripture of a covenant with non-Hebrew Gentiles.
If it's not chapter and verse, then it is chatter or worse.
So, God saves Israel through covenant. Show me a covenant between God and non-Hebrew Gentiles.
If you can.

I.just explain in an earlier post that the Noahadic Covenant is a non Jewish Covernant that was established a 1000 years before Abraham. What part of that do you not understand?

I know it's a promise to not flood the earth again. But there is nothing in these promises that have anything to do with sin, death, or salvation.

These are covenants! And by the way the Noahic Covenant did have to with the nauseating sin that God couldn't stand in humanity. You really need to study Scripture instead of giving put misinformation and disinformation.

Sorry but the Noah covenant is nothing about substitutionary sacrifice and the salvation of God's elect and chosen people.

Besides that. I don't bless sin as you do. Such acts oppose God.
We must all see the same Jesus; we must all say the same thing as God.
To do otherwise is to OPPOSE Him.

With your heretical statements, what cult do you belong to?

I say again, God's covenant with Noah had nothing to do with sin, death, eternal life, salvation, or redemption of a person. So, what's heretical about saying the same thing as God?
I'm not the one who gets their theology from others. I study Scripture and like Saul, God gives me revelation of His Word.
