Let's get it right. who is God by name. is he, God, One person or three separate persons. or is God ONE person in an ECHAD of himself. also, the one whom many say is the third person in the Godhead, that many place last is really the First and the Last the ONLY TRUE God.

there are two to three scriptures that clearly show who God is, what God is, and his personal name. the very first scripture in the bible answer the "WHAT" God is, Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." this term "beginning" holds the key. it is the Hebrew term,
H7225 רֵאשִׁית re'shiyth (ray-sheeth') n-f.
1. the first, in place, time, order or rank.
2. (specifically) a firstfruit.

[from the same as H7218]
KJV: beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing.
Root(s): H7218

take close notice of definition #1. it reveals what the shema speak of in Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:"

ONE: H259 אֶחָד 'echad (ech-awd') adj.
1. (properly) united, i.e. one.
2. (as an ordinal) first.
[a numeral from H258]
KJV: a, alike, alone, altogether, and, any(-thing), apiece, a certain, (dai-)ly, each (one), + eleven, every, few, first, + highway, a man, once, one, only, other, some, together.
Root(s): H258

notice definition #2........ it reveals THE plurality of God as "ONE" PERSON. this is the basic understanding of WHO and WHAT God is.

if one desire to know the TRUTH about God, start here, at the Beginning, Genesis 1:1

GOD: H430 אֱלֹהִים 'elohiym (el-o-heem') n-m.
אֱלֹהֵי 'elohiy (el-o-hee') [alternate plural]
1. (literally) supreme ones.
2. (hence, in the ordinary sense) gods.
3. (specifically, in the plural, especially with the article) the Supreme God (i.e. the all supreme).
4. (sometimes) supreme, used as a superlative.
5. (occasionally, by way of deference) supreme magistrates, the highest magistrates of the land.
6. (also) the supreme angels (entities of unspecified type).
[plural of H433]
KJV: angels, X exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.
Root(s): H433
Compare: H5945, H7706, H8199, H4397

[plural of H433] so who is H433?

H433 אֱלוֹהַּ 'elowahh (el-o'-ah) n-m.
אֱלֹהַּ 'eloahh (el-o'-ah) [shortened (rarely)]
1. one with supreme strength and ability.
2. the Supreme Being, God the Creator, Yahweh by name.
3. a supreme entity, a god-like creature (that is, one of God's supreme creations, or one of man's inventions).
[probably prolonged (emphat.) from H410]
KJV: God, god.
Root(s): H410

hold it, is not H430 אֱלֹהִים 'elohiym (el-o-heem') n-m. is the ONE GOD? yes, H430 אֱלֹהִים 'elohiym (el-o-heem') is the PLURAL of, of, of, of, H433 אֱלוֹהַּ 'elowahh (el-o'-ah) n-m. this is the key to God's plurality of ONE in the ECHAD, or as the above definition of H258 ECHAD states, 2. (as an ordinal) first.
KNOWING this one simple truth is answer the Godhead as ONLY ONE PERSON, JESUS THE HOLY SPIRIT id Ordinal designation.

yes, ORDINAL Designations as in "FIRST" and "LAST", "LORD", and "Lord", "Father" and "Son", "Alpha" and "Omega", "beginning" and "End", "Root" and "Offspring"..... ect... must we say more.

GINOLJC, to all.
as stated in the OP, there is ONE GOD, and that ONE GOD is "ONE" Person. scripture, Isaiah 44:6 "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."
me is a single person designation.

Isaiah 44:8 "Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any."
again, me and I are single person designations.

Isaiah 45:5 "I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:"
again, me and I are single person designations. and God also said, "there is none else" ... the term, "None else" is a phrase used in written English to emphasize that there are no other possibilities or options. case closed. read that definition again.

understand, God is a single person in an "ECHAD" of, of, of, of, ... HIMSELF. and that one person is the "Holy Spirit", who holds the Titles in his ECHAD of himself, "Father"/LORD/First, and to come, "Son/Lord/Last.

one God who is "ONE" person in an ECHAD of himself as First and Last.

in much GL.
