29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

I see it, but it doesn’t say what you are twisting it to say! I agree with the scripture; I don’t agree with your interpretation of it!

No matter how you cut it believing is the act of human beings and that act is the difference between condemnation or life everlasting.

We cannot do this, however, unless God allows us to believe! It is allowed by God, for the sake of Christ, for us not only “to believe, but also suffer for his sake” (both of which are human choices)!

Yes it does. Its saying that to them whom Paul was writing, to them it was given to them to believe on the His Name. It was given by grace, thats what the word given means, it was bestowed upon them. And you flat out deny it.

Then you try to butcher it up with your comment about the infinitive, you just butcher up truth. Are you teaching that junk at a church somewhere ?
