Studying and Applying God's Word

No thanks. We should start where the Bible itself tells us to start. We should not ignore God's instructions about how we can learn the word -
"The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." 2 Timothy 2:2
and Eph.4:11-12 "And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ."
Teaching doesn't come from a group - it comes from an individual who is given the gift of teaching.

Yes, in this context He is over ALL Hebrews as He is their King.

The context is Israelites. As King of the Jews He is over all the Jews.
is he not King of the earth? Revelation 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war." Revelation 19:12 "His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself." Revelation 19:13 "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." Revelation 19:14 "And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean." Revelation 19:15 "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." Revelation 19:16 "And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

well, in order to teach, one must acknowledge the first principle of God. Hebrews 5:12 "For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat." Hebrews 5:13 "For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe." Hebrews 5:14 "But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

this is where you should start. and as for instructions about how we can learn the word. First..... Isaiah 28:9 "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts." Isaiah 28:10 "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:" Isaiah 28:11 "For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people." Isaiah 28:12 "To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear."

If you're non-Hebrew Gentile prepare to be smitten.

You are among the Gentile nations destined to be destroyed later on.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Rev. 20:7–10.

There will come a day when only Hebrews exist on the planet. All the non-Hebrew Gentiles will be consumed by fire from heaven. How cool is that!

Let's read on to see what happens to these Gentile nations:

Rev. 20:7–10.

It doesn't end well for these non-Hebrew Gentile nations. Once they've be eradicated by God then the children of Israel will be left over and shall ever be with the Lord Jesus Christ in eternal bliss and blessing.
Make sure you're not part of them because it doesn't end well for these so-called Gentile "Christians" who are supposed to be saved and with the Lord forever. Why send missionaries to the non-Hebrew Gentiles if it's only going to end in fire for them?

Makes no sense. So, maybe Saul, apostle of the Gentiles, wasn't sent to non-Hebrew Gentiles, and the Gentiles mentioned in his letters are not non-Hebrew Gentiles but a people like the Samaritans, mixed heritage, half-Jew and half-Gentile who lived as Gentiles in Gentile lands, and these are the Gentiles Saul was sent to give message. It makes more sense that these half-Jew and half-Gentile people were the ones Saul was sent to give message. And do you know what message he gave to these mixed heritage seed of Abraham?

Your Messiah has come, and God has kept His Promise.

That is the good news. That is the gospel: God has kept His Promise!

I see that you continue to be enraptured by your Ethnic Cleansing dreams and visions. You're a Nihilist through and through. With all due respect, you need professional help for your condition.
Nah. I'm a Biblical Christian who holds to the written Word of God found in the Law, Psalms, and Prophets. I also receive the New Covenant writings of Saul, Peter, James, and John, etc., and since the Holy Spirit is supposed to be the inspiration of the New Covenant writing He would never say anything that would contradict what's already been written in the Hebrew Scripture.
Thus, it is the interpretations that are in error when such interpretations contradict what the Holy Spirit wrote in the Old Testament Scripture.
You should know that.
But you don't. You try to make Scripture fit your pet theologies, but God says, "NO!"
The Word of God shall endure forever and sometime in the future if you live that long, the only people left standing after the dust has settled with the Hebrew people who are protected in being members and inheritors of the Promises of God.

If you're non-Hebrew Gentile prepare to be smitten.
ERROR, reign with him.... (smile).

nope.

pipe dream.
for in Christ Jesus there is neither Jew nor Greek/Gentile. ... rich or poor, nor.... get this "MALE or FEMALE" .... lol, lol, lol, Oh dear.

The only people to reign with Christ are His people. He is King of the Jews. It was posted on His cross. It doesn't say king of the Gentiles, does it?
No, it doesn't. So, why do you want to change the Scripture that cannot be broken and add non-Hebrew Gentiles as His people. His people are the seed of Abraham.

and to the Hebrews and Jews who are Abraham's after the flesh..... and not born of the Spirit.... (smile). same fate ............. Ooop's .... :D

Fact check:

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts 2:41.

Jesus is a Jewish Messiah prophesied in a Jewish covenant in order to redeem those under the Jewish covenant called the Law. Non-Hebrew Gentiles were never under the Law so figure it out. Accept the Scripture as written:

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Gal. 4:4–5.

Let's keep it biblical.

6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; Deut. 7:6–9.

IF you love me obey my commandments (the Law of Moses.)

There are no other commandments referred to. Beside this, Deuteronomy 7:6-9 records God speaking to the children of Israel through Moses. There is no passage in all of the bible in which God says his love is for non-Hebrew Gentiles. None.

The only people to reign with Christ are His people.
how true, for his PEOPLE is neither Jew nor Gentile...... (smile), LOL. Oh dear.

He is King of the Jews.
And, Acts 10:44 "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word." Acts 10:45 "And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 10:46 "For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,"

Acts 11:18 "When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life." .... say WHAT!

No, His people are the Hebrews.
Christ has only ONE Bride and she is Israel.
That's why there is a marriage covenant between God and Israel and Christ is not an adulterer to have two wives - one Hebrew one Gentile. That's a no-no.

FACT CHECK, double. 1 John 2:2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." Checkmate.

John was addressing Hebrews/Jewish Christians.
The context is them.
They are the whole world of Hebrews.

1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1 Jn 2:1–3.

Keeping His commandments refers to keeping the Law.
Thus, John is addressing Jewish Christians.
When a Jew became born-again, they continued to be obedient to the Law in a whole new way. Even Saul continued to obey the Law after meeting Christ. He was showing His love for Christ by obeying His commandments.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Jn 14:15.

It's the same John who wrote John 14:15 and 1 John 2:1-3. He'd know about love because he was the disciple Jesus loved.

LOL, lol, lol, oh my...... listen carefully. Revelation 21:2 "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." the city is the bride in symbolisms, meaning his body the church. now, Revelation 3:12 "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name." this is the church at Philadelphia is it Jewish? let's see. Revelation 3:8 "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name." Revelation 3:9 "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee."

HOLD IT....... "which say they are Jews, and are not". let's see. Romans 9:6 "Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:" (READ THAT AGAIN). Romans 9:7 "Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called." Romans 9:8 "That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." Romans 9:9 "For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son."

Bingo. lol, lol, lol, ... but don't you believe .... ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED? ... please know the difference between all and every.

101G could careless if John was addressing a bunch of Goats. the subject matter is not changed. 1 John 2:2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

that's FACT.

A group "Bible study" is very similar to this Bible Forum, which is also similar to a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. Everything from heresy to misinterpreting scripture to posts that sound like the poster is mentally incompetent, to actual good teaching. On the other hand, if a gifted Bible teacher teaches a small group let's say, in a home, now we're getting somewhere -
