That was not indwelling. Falling upon and dwelling in are two separate and distinct works of the Holy Spirit.
False.
See Acts 2:4, for that is when they were indwelt and filled with the Holy Spirit.

I believe we must repent in order to be saved because If we don't repent (change our mind) then we will not place our faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and become saved. Repentance actually "precedes" saving faith in Christ. (Acts 20:21) Folks in the CoC place repentance "after" faith then redefine it and turn it into a work for salvation. Water baptism "follows" saving belief/faith in Christ (Acts 10:43-47) which you also turn into a work for salvation.Interesting rewrite of God's word. Interesting, but not surprising. What you claim about confession is true about repenting and being baptized; but that you reject.
Folks in the CoC
You are confused. It doesn't have to because elsewhere in the Bible it is taught that they were "given" the Holy Spirit (cf. Acts 11:17).
And if one one has been "given" the Holy Spirit then God dwells in them (1 John 4:13).
Yes, water baptism follows belief. But nowhere in the NT does it ever say that water baptism follows salvation.I believe we must repent in order to be saved because If we don't repent (change our mind) then we will not place our faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and become saved. Are you saying one filled with the spirit could by no mean produce a miracle? No, miracles come only in the work of the Holy Spirit of falling upon you (fills you) in an act separate and distinct from the work of the Holy Spirit indwelling you.
Simply that they could possibly happenWhat do you mean by "miracles may come"? Miracles don't "come"; miracles are performed by someone.
You are welcome.Wow. Such a powerful refutation with a massive amount of evidence to back it up.
Thanks for making this easy for me.
Acts 10:43 -Alll the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.” 44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message. 45 All the Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had also been poured out on the Gentiles. 46 For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter responded, 47 "Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?”Yes, water baptism follows belief. But nowhere in the NT does it ever say that water baptism follows salvation.
I didn't say that. Read it again. Are you saying one filled with the spirit could by no mean produce a miracle?
Where in those verses does it say that anyone was saved?Acts 10:43 -Alll the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.” 44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message. 45 All the Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had also been poured out on the Gentiles. 46 For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. These Gentiles believed in Him (Acts 10:43) received the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:45) and spoke in tongues (Acts 10:46) which is a spiritual gift that is ONLY for the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12) and were saved BEFORE water baptism.Where in those verses does it say that anyone was saved?
1 corintians12 does not say that. These Gentiles believed in Him (Acts 10:43) received the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:45) and spoke in tongues (Acts 10:46) which is a spiritual gift that is ONLY for the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12) and were saved BEFORE water baptism.
The apostle Paul is addressing "brethren" in 1 Corinthians 12 and not unbelievers. In verses 12-14 Paul goes on to say - For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. Paul is addressing the body of Christ which is only made up of saved believers. Do you believe that lost unbelievers are part of the body of Christ?1 corintians12 does not say that.
Where in those verses does it say that anyone was saved?
Ok, good to know.I didn't say that. Read it again.
"Miracles" are the result of the SPIRIT ON YOU just as they were from the beginning.Again
Are you denying miracles may come because the Spirit is in you?
