Open Debate on the "Eternal Sonship vs Incarnate Sonship which is biblical?"

Guess I am the only Yankee from north of the Mason Dixon line.

No wonder no one understands me. Especially @Red Baker because his southern drawl comes through in his typing.

I use some "million dollar words" from time to time to throw people off "the scent"..... :)

Yankees are fine. They just tend to bring their problems with them to my area. Add that to all the problems we've caused ourselves and it can become a mess.... :)

Again. Reality. You are saying things that are divorced from the sum of your words. What you said equals just that.
Nothing I said even comes close to what you said. I am a firm believer in the Triune God composed of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all separate divine Spirit beings.

Are you Jim?

I understand you well. Detail how I don't.

I bet there were thousands of Pharisees that told Jesus "you just don't understand me".....
I read a sentence. I have to tell others what they believe because they misrepresent what they believe.

I answered because I thought i was one of the others.

NOT to worry... I deleted my post so as to not confuse some of the others...
In any event... take it easy on my friend Jim.

I wont bother you again.

Then prove it with what you say. If I had a dollar every time I've heard/read someone say that, well, you can guess the rest.... Right?

I mean I don't really have to say do I. You already know right? Make an application.

So, the baptism of Jesus and Transfiguration. Explain how God isn't speaking in the third person given what you've said about the Incarnation of the Son. Elaborate.

No problem. Just trying to understand. You might misunderstand me a little at times too... :) We all do. Theology now, I try to get that right more than most anything.

Dr Greene? You've sounded like an Independent Baptist for some time now to me. I know them well.
Believe or not, I thought Oliver B. Greene and Dr. Harold Sightler were two powerful men of God when I first came to Christ, and actually sat under Mr. Sightler at Tabernacle Bible college in his Hermeneutic class. He was very sincere man and live as clean as any person I have ever come in contact with. I left the bible college about as soon as started.

So, yes I started out as an Independent Baptist but soon left them when I begin to study the scriptures. I left them within three to four years, and made a major overall of my first teachings, so no one can say that I have never change, for I have indeed and still changed for the next ten years or so, until I went through the scriptures several times before I finally settled into where I am today. Brother @Jim think I need to continue to change, but I went through what he holds to for over three to four years, and came to the conclusion he needs to come to where I am at. It was men like John MacArthur that play (small) part in my conversion from the eternal Sonship position ~believe or not it was men Adam Clark that help me to seal the deal on the Sonship position, the most; Alexander Campbell the CoC (disciple of Christ) minister; Gilbert Beebe the Primitive Baptist; no certain sect, but godly men from different faith's.

You would not even think I was among them by what I hold to now. So, not sure why you are saying that. I know you were once one of them, only because you said so a while back. The Catholics know their bibles as well as they do, if not better. The Pentecostal's would put them to shame.

A Texan cowboy saunters up to the counter of a fast-food joint in New York City.
Cashier:
"Can I help you?"
Cowboy: (Leaning in slowly and squinting) "I 'spose so... What in the name of tarnation is that yella stuff ya put on yer hot dog?"
Cashier: (Sighing) "Mustard. It's called mustard."
Cowboy: (After a long, thoughtful pause) "Mu... sturd? Huh. Well, ahm not fixin' to get a hot dog, but ah'll take a number two and a sweet tea, if ya don't mind. And make that sweet tea so sweet it'll make mah teeth hurt."
Cashier: (Scoffs) "We don't have sweet tea."
Cowboy: (Eyes widening, voice dropping lower) "You... don't... have... sweet... tea? Well, bless your heart."

Hey, to not get between you again Mr IT man.... @praise_yeshua

One laptop the screen is going black and is under warranty cause it sometimes works then dies when I need it.......... but Printer ^(&%#^&*()(* And I mean every word.

A month ago I kept getting an error message it was offline.... and I could not get it to work ... two weeks later in the middle of the night it came on running... and printing. HP /Verizon Fios

A few days ago it went offline again and I have followed instructions til I am blue in the face and
cannot get it even to a factory reset.... And I have 2 passwords, neither are working now. (One from the router and one from HP who had to help set it up remotely.

But 2 days ago the printer printed me a page....Not gonna copy it all here but header says

Welcome to WIFI Direct

It goes on...

WI-FI Direct has been temporarily deactivated because your wifi network is currently using a restricted
5Ghz channel 132 (DFH) Because this channel is used by radar systems WI-FI Direct is unable to operate using this channel in the printer.

This is all bolded.

I think I have messed it up badly playing around but I cannot carry it to Best Buy, it is too heavy for me.

Question.

Do you think if I get the big laptop fixed that I could move this smaller one next tot the printer and hook it up with a USB cable?

All of these pieces are 3 years old. The printer has an extended warranty on it too (This does not)
but it is just too heavy for me to carry with a cane.

I always heard that about Sightler. I own much of Greene's commentaries. I once supported him financially. I meet Sightler at "Sword of the Lord" conferences in Winston Salem. You know where. Sightler would punish his kids for bouncing a ball on the "Sabbath". Real winner. Greene to me was a man of integrity. He had a hard time fitting in among those old school independents. More than once some of them tried to "run him off" from the "independent club". If he wasn't successful with the "Gospel Hour", then I believe they would have. You know how success and revenue "keeps the relationships alive".

My mother was a freewill Baptist. I sure do miss her. My father was an epic drunk. I miss him. We all carry baggage of some sort. Whether it is theological or other. I had neighbors down the street that carried me to a local Independent Baptist church in the area we lived. That is where I meet Jesus Christ as a 16 year old. Several years later, I was ordained. None of them would claim me now.

You would not even think I was among them by what I hold to now. So, not sure why you are saying that. I know you were once one of them, only because you said so a while back. The Catholics know their bibles as well as they do, if not better. The Pentecostal's would put them to shame.

I was thinking you might have that "Oneness" in you from Pentecostalism. Though Clark was classified as a "Methodist", many people don't understand just how broadly many beliefs are spread throughout through the Methodists. When I was younger, it was common to find the creeds among various methodists in my area.

Needless to say, I'm complicated. I decided to abandon all of that baggage the first time a independent baptist punch me the jaw for challenging him on tithing. I told him Christ took my curse at Calvary and "BAM".

Either way, nice to know you. We have some things in common.

Yeah. That sweet tea runs out just short of DC. Real Grits do too. Hominy. My brother did convert his wife and her family in Ohio.

Laptop going black can mean many different things. It could be losing power from battery issues or even a bad power button itself. It could also be hibernating. I would recommend when it is working, go into the power settings and disable hibernation. Also set the hard drive to not go to sleep. If you keep it always plugged up, none of those settings actually amount to anything.

WI-FI Direct isn't anything you actually need. It just allows a direct connection over wifi to the printer without the necessity of a wireless router. It gives the printer more flexibility when deploying it but it isn't necessary. You should be connecting it to your wifi network and then printing to it. Sounds like it was actually hard reset and the wifi direct came on because it is defaulted in factory settings. Not sure what model it is but I can look it up if you have a model #.

You can always print to a printer if it has a USB port. It is always active. There might be one somewhere that can be disabled but I've never seen one personally. You can find settings like this on very expensive equipment. Also, it doesn't sound like it is too old to not work with Windows 11 (not sure if you have this or not. Windows 10 pretty much is left without security patches after November this year). Just mentioning it as a side note.

Not sure if I covered what you're looking for. Let me know. Thanks.
