Jesus gave that glory to his disciples. It's unthinkable that regular disciples have the shekinah glory of God. Therefore the glory Jesus was referring to isn't the kind of exclusive glory that only God has, but rather a glory that was given to Jesus and the disciples. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.
I have glorified You on earth by accomplishing the work You gave Me to do.
And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.
John 17
22I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one—
And to comment on @Phoebe's post, her conclusion is not stated, but being the glory of God does not make someone God.
2 Cor. 3
18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
