Isaiah and the trinity

Isaiah 6:1–10 (UASV) — 1 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw Jehovah sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is Jehovah of armies; the whole earth is full of his glory!” 4 And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 And I said: “Woe is me! For I have been brought to silence; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of armies!” 6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth and said: “Look, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.” 8 And I heard the voice of Jehovah saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” 9 And he said, “Go, and tell this people: “ ‘Keep on listening, but do not understand; keep on looking but do not perceive.’ 10 Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”

Isaiah has a vision of Jehovah

and plainly states he has seen the king, Jehovah of armies

John the apostle discusses this at

John 12:36–43 (UASV) — 36 While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light.” Jesus said these things, and he went away and was hidden from them. 37 But though he had performed so many signs before them, yet they were not believing in him. 38 So that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said: “Lord, who has believed in the thing heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” 39 For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again, 40 “He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I might heal them.” 41 These things Isaiah said because he saw his glory, and he spoke about him. Nevertheless many even of the rulers believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they were not confessing him, so that they might not be put out of the synagogue; 43 for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.

But identifies Jesus as the one seen

In Isaiah it is asked “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

who will go for us?

Us not me

Isaiah tells us he saw Jehovah

john states he saw Jesus

Only the Holy Spirit is missing

well

Acts 28:25–27 (KJV 1900) — 25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, 26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: 27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

according to Luke

It was the Holy Spirit which pronounced the hardening of those people

Thus the us is seen as all three of the trinity

It is so wonderful to see someone do their own investigation! Great investigation!

Isaiah has a vision of Jehovah
no, he had a vision of the Lord JESUS sitting on the throne, scripture, John 12:37 "But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:" John 12:38 "That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?" John 12:39 "Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again," John 12:40 "He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them." John 12:41 "These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him."

Isaiah 40:3–5 (LEB) — 3 A voice is calling in the wilderness, “Clear the way of Yahweh! Make a highway smooth in the desert for our God! 4 Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill shall become low, And the rough ground shall be like a plain, and the rugged ground like a valley-plain. 5 And the glory of Yahweh shall be revealed, and all humankind together shall see it, for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken.”

This is the Lord Jesus whom you call "Yahweh", for the ONE who come before "HIM" to make the highway straight is the "one" John the Baptist. and John was the forerunner to the Lord , (JESUS), who you call Yahweh. to prove 101G point, the same Messenger in Isaiah 40:3 is again prophesied again here in Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts."

so, your Yahweh is the Lord Jesus.

You are speaking of two persons?

Really?

John 16:25–31 (KJV 1900) — 25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. 26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: 27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. 29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. 30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. 31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?

common sense has to kick in at some point. now this is 101G's LAST attempt. Hebrews 1:10 "And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:"

the Lord Laid the Foundation of the Earth. NOW THIS,
Zechariah 12:1 "The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him."

this is 101G's last dish effort. is it the Lord who laid the foundation of the earth the LORD, the same one person, Yes or No?

and plainly states he has seen the king, Jehovah of armies

John the apostle discusses this at

John 12:36–43 (UASV) — 36 While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light.” Jesus said these things, and he went away and was hidden from them. 37 But though he had performed so many signs before them, yet they were not believing in him. 38 So that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said: “Lord, who has believed in the thing heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” 39 For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again, 40 “He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I might heal them.” 41 These things Isaiah said because he saw his glory, and he spoke about him. john states he saw Jesus

It was the Holy Spirit which pronounced the hardening of those people

Thus the us is seen as all three of the trinity
How IGNORANT can one BE? Isaiah 48:16 "Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me." WHO WAS SENT? not Isaiah, for Isaiah was not at the beginning. so, by process of elimination, this leaves the Lord God and his Spirit. but in Revelation 22:6 the angel who was sent to John (per Revelation 1:1) was the Lord God, and we know from Revelation 22:16 that the Lord God who sent his angel to John was the Lord God, JESUS. and here in Isaiah 48:16 it is the Lord God and his Spirit that sent... "ME". so who is the ME? a. it is not Isaiah. B. the Lord God is JESUS, per Revelation 22:6 and 16. so C. that leaves in a trinity.... the one foolishly called the father is only left...... (smile). so, was the Father sent here in Isaiah 48:16?

Let the games begins .................... (smile), :ninja: YIKES!

What you did there with the Holy Spirit, could point to a Trinity, yup, could be. It's not proof, not 100%, but could be. Lets add another passage and see what happens. You are in Isaiah, so let take a passage from there, which asks..

Isa 40:18-22
18 To whom then will you liken God? or what likeness will you compare unto him?
19 The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.
20 He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.

Just reading those three verses straightforward, God is speaking about His image, "who," or "what," is like Him. We actually have two question to answer, "who" and "what."

21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
Pointing us back to the very beginning of Genesis chapter one, the answer in the next verse..
22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

.."who," or "what" do you say this is?
This can be none other than the spirit of God in Genesis chapter one verse two. And Isa 40:18-22 says the spirit of God is God's image.
Okay, ..
..but "who" alone is the image of God, out of all who are God, that this could be?
..but "what" is the image of God, out of all that is God, that this could be?

John say it was the word that was with God in the beginning, actually it only states that there were two, God and the word. Jesus is the only exact image of God, and Jesus is the word. God's spoken word is the exact image of the invisible God.

Christ = "who."
Word = "what."
Christ is the spirit 2 Cor 3:17.
The word is the spirit Eph 6:17.
Christ is the word.

Isaiah 63:9–14 (KJV 1900) — 9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, And the angel of his presence saved them: In his love and in his pity he redeemed them; And he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. 10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: Therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. 11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? Where is he that put his holy Spirit within him? 12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, Dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name? 13 That led them through the deep, As an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble? 14 As a beast goeth down into the valley, The Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: So didst thou lead thy people, To make thyself a glorious name.

WHO WAS SENT? not Isaiah, for Isaiah was not at the beginning. so, by process of elimination, this leaves the Lord God and his Spirit. but in Revelation 22:6 the angel who was sent to John (per Revelation 1:1) was the Lord God, and we know from Revelation 22:16 that the Lord God who sent his angel to John was the Lord God, JESUS. and here in Isaiah 48:16 it is the Lord God and his Spirit that sent... "ME". so who is the ME? a. it is not Isaiah. B. the Lord God is JESUS, per Revelation 22:6 and 16. so C. that leaves in a trinity.... the one foolishly called the father is only left...... (smile). so, was the Father sent here in Isaiah 48:16?

Let the games begins .................... (smile), :ninja: YIKES!

We have the sent one.

The one who sent and his Spirit.

In Isaiah

What was your point, I miised it?
One thing I think you are trying to state is that the angel is the Holy Spirit, but that is all I got, that is if I got you correct. The angel of his presence is a type of Christ, as many, or most are in the O.T.

Well anyway, how does any of that change Isa 40:18-22, that the spirit of God is the image of God? And how does that change that Christ is both the spirit, and the word? And how does that change that the word is the spirit? How does any of post #16 make any difference to what is stated in post #15?
