Is the word all ever used in a restricted sense ?

Oh I believe In Jesus. He is my Lord and Savior, workout your own salvation with fear and trembling. None of us are qualified to be the Judge. Only the Lord Jesus is qualified, and all judgment has been entrusted to Him (John 5:22). We will all stand some day before the judgment seat of Christ.
Amen

Is the word world ever used in a restricted limited sense ? Yes it is,

In fact the word actually means a gathering together of particulars. Its the greek word kosmos:

#8.
  1. any aggregate or general collection of particularsof any sort
    1. the Gentiles as contrasted to the Jews (Rom. 11:12 etc)
  2. https://www.blueletterbible.org/lexicon/g2889/kjv/tr/0-1/

Now notice the word particulars, it means:

of or relating to a single or specific person, thing, group, class, occasion, etc., rather than to others or all; special rather than general:
So technically the collection or gathering together of all of Gods Sheep, or Elect, or Children constitutes a World like in Jn 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For instance, scripture says Jesus by His Death shall gather together all the children of God Jn 11:50-52

50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

52 And not for that nation only, but that also he[by his death] should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

The words "should gather together" is the word synagō:

  1. to gather together, to gather
    1. to draw together, collect
      1. of fishes
      2. of a net in which they are caught
  2. to bring together, assemble, collect
    1. to join together, join in one (those previously separated)

So it would be biblical to say the world in Jn 3:16 are the collection of the Children of God. So it could agreeably read Jn 3:16

16 For God so loved the Children of God, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

So the word world in a scriptural sense can be and often is , having a restricted sense. Not all mankind are the Children of God, its a division 1 Jn 3:10

in this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
If this is proper hermeneutics, then the old adage “Judas went out and hung himself…” “go and do likewise!” Is meritorious as well!

It is interesting that you think that the #8 possible definition is the one that that is meant in John 3:16. There is no mention of a contrasting group, such as Jews versus Gentiles.

There is no basis contextually for defining the world as anything other than the world of humanity.

Yes they must redefine it to fit their false teaching with the gospel and atonement

John 12:47 (LEB) — 47 And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them, I will not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

World here obviously includes any who hear the words of Christ and do not observe them

These are a part of the World Christ came to save.

Rom 11:12
Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

World here equals gentiles.

Such will not support your view that world must equal the elect.

I have no problem with Jn 12:47 care to exegete it

World does not ever mean elect.

Your position is simply not biblical, and is refuted

John 12:47 (NASB95) — 47 “If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

The world Christ came to save includes any who do not believe

You have a major problem

Any who do not believe are a part of the world Christ came to save and not part of a world Christ came to judge at that time.

If you ever start believing scripture, it is plain to see your theology is unbiblical.

World does not ever mean elect.

When it comes to salvation, the world only means the elect, from amongst all ethnic groups. World emphasizes the scope of Gods elect

You ignored scripture once again

World here cannot simply mean the elect

Again in scripture, in the context of salvation, the word world just means, outside of national israel, that God saves a elect people.
You failed yet another time to heed scripture

Its really simple, the word world in its salvific sense means salvation provided and effected outside of israel.

John 12:32
32 "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself."

HE was lifted up from the Earth yet He does not draw all men to Himself. All then must refer to all who can be drawn, His sheep gone astray by rebellon, His sinful but good seed, the sinful people of His kingdom, those who are never condemned because of their faith in Him while the other part of all men is condemned already, Jn 3:18.

All here are who believe in Jesus

You continue ignoring scripture

You can gather all the verses you want, the word world in a Salvation sense is restricted to Gods elect among, out of all nations.

The world in a Salvation sense is Abrahams Seed, that's the world God loved and promised Eternal life to. Rom 4:12-16

12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
The promise to be heir of the world is the same promise to Abraham and his seed to receive the Inheritance Gal 3:16-18

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

18 For if the inheritance[world] be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it[world] to Abraham by promise.

So the world of Jn 3:16 is the world of Abrahams Seed, consisting of believers who have Abraham as their Father, ethnicity plays no factor.
