How Christ’s death secures the salvation of those who believe.

Paul said you can.

Notice.

I'll do your bible homework for you.

Galatians 3"""""O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you,.. Received you the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? """"""

Galatians 5 says they are "fallen from Grace".

Notice carefully that that these Galatian Christians had "RECEIVED THE SPIRIT"......so, that is how you know they are CHRISTIANS.......because "They that have not the Spirit of God, are none of God's.".

So, they had "fallen from Grace" and so has everyone who believes they can lose their Salvation, as at that moment, they have lost faith in Christ to keep them saved, and that is the proof of their deception, that is their carnal mind, ('in the Flesh") Paul explains.
Looks like the dog ate you homework. And I think he needs to go outside and dump it.

The book of Galatians finds Paul defending himself and the gospel of Christ from a group of “teachers” who arrived in Galatia sometime after he left. The group, commonly referred to as the Judaizers, proclaimed a gospel different from Paul’s. Yet it was similar to the apostle’s teaching in enough ways to confuse the Christians in Galatia.

The group believed and taught that salvation was found through having faith in Christ along with keeping portions of the law. Their distorted gospel centered on the importance of circumcision. Paul’s letter indicates that the Judaizers were successful in persuading some gentile believers to be circumcised to ensure their salvation.

The series of events broke the apostle’s heart as seen in Gal. 4:18–20.

18 It is always a fine thing [of course] to be zealously sought after [as you are, provided that it is] for a good purpose and done by reason of purity of heart and life, and not just when I am present with you!
19 My little children, for whom I am again suffering birth pangs until Christ is completely and permanently formed (molded) within you,
20 Would that I were with you now and could coax you vocally, for I am fearful and perplexed about you!
Ga 4:18–20.

He was under the impression that the people of Galatia were solid in their understanding of the gospel. To hear that they were so easily led astray was a real blow to Paul. He wrote,

I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you, and want to dis tort the gospel of Christ.
Galatians 1:6–7

In the gospel of Matthew his Christology and Soteriology go hand in hand. I think it's a great mistake to isolate various Christian doctrines one from another, especially these two.

We can see what the church said about Christ, that the issue was Christological. But at the level of why the church said what it said about Christ, the underlying issue was soteriological. This is why I say Christology and Soteriology go hand in hand, and I believe it is very important for us to grasp the soteriology that lay behind the church’s Christology in order to understand that Christology itself.

Soteriology is the study of salvation. It guards against false understanding about salvation and helps ensure we know if we’re truly saved from God’s wrath for our sin.
Christology is the study of the Person and work of Jesus Christ, particularly Jesus’ primary work—salvation. (Luke 19:10; I Timothy 1:15-16).

A Child of God is Forever Secure

You may fall from grace if you are a counterfeit Christian, but if you are a true believer you will never fall from salvation.

Falling from Grace is not the idea of falling from Salvation.

Salvation has an end result that happens as soon as you receive Salvation.. And this end result is that you are BORN.. AGAIN.
So, that never ends, as you cant end a Spiritual Birth.

However, the way you understand Theology.......regarding your Salvation, can become confused and subverted by people who teach wrong theology, who are become ministers of the Devil.
The NT says they are "ministers of righteousness".. yet, they are teaching it according to SELF Righteousness.
This is defined in Heb 13:9 as "doctrines of Devils".

The aim of a Doctrine of Devils is to ruin your understanding of God's Grace, so that you no longer have the Revelation.
And once that happens, then you are deceived, or as Paul defines it....>>"who has BEWITCHED you, so that you no longer obey the Truth".

So what stops this from happening?
Heb 13:9 explains that you must "establish your heart wtih GRACE"...
And that means you have to understand that Jesus not only saved you, but keeps you saved.

See the "keeps you saved" part ??????
This is the part that becomes "broken faith", in a person who is trying to stay saved.
They no longer believe that Jesus keeps them saved., and at that moment, they become "fallen from Grace".

A believer can never fall from grace. End of story.

Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV) [Let your] conduct [be] without covetousness; [be] content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

God has promised the born again believer that He will be with you for all eternity if you will only trust and have faith in Him—always staying true to His Word. God will always be faithful to His promises.
