How Calvin justified persecuting his opponents

"You isnt worth anyone else being". What does that mean?
I asked an AI. Here is what Grok said.

"The person being addressed is perceived as lacking sufficient value, merit, or importance to warrant the existence, effort, or presence of others. It’s a harsh judgment, possibly indicating that the speaker feels the individual doesn’t deserve attention or support from anyone else."

Ya and? Your to hard on yourself. Work on it

What was his lifestyle? Since you were there apparently
I read the church history and the many quotes of his over the years during his day. :)

You know the written record. Do you believe the historical written accounts and quotes of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln ?

How do you know what you read is true ?

Yep. When a Calvinist can't defend their inane position, it becomes necessary to force everyone else to "speak like you". It is nothing more than a petty tactic.

Notice the history of such tactics below....

2Co 10:10 For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
2Co 10:11 Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.

I asked the question and you avoided the answer. It’s your turn to answer my questions. Thanks :)

Amazing how he judges while condemning others for judging. I seem to remember Jesus talking about this....

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven:

I believe many people don't understand what Jesus said here. Judgement in the eyes of the saints isn't about condemnation. We don't have the power.

What we can judge is whether things are righteous and wholesome to Christian faith.

Notice how John the Beloved recorded the words of Jesus.....

Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

WE can make the judgement for ourselves to not be like them/him.

Mat 23:2 “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat,
Mat 23:3 so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice.
Mat 23:4 They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on people's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger.
Mat 23:5 They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long,
Mat 23:6 and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues
Mat 23:7 and greetings in the marketplaces and being called rabbi by others.
Mat 23:8 But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers.
Mat 23:9 And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.
Mat 23:10 Neither be called instructors, for you have one instructor, the Christ.
Mat 23:11 The greatest among you shall be your servant.
Mat 23:12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

No one is "sitting in Moses' seat" anymore. Yet, hypocrisy is rampant throughout the entirety of history.

I did not force you to anything. LOL

And Christians are commanded to remove the wicked form their midst, not condone their sinful and evil actions

If calvin were in our church promoting his persecution of believers who disagreed with him he would be removed from our congregation as we are commanded by Paul and Jesus.

1 Corinthians 5:11-13
But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”

1 Timothy 5:20
But those who persist in sin should be rebuked in front of everyone, so that the others will stand in fear of sin.

Matthews18:15-18
“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’17If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

I did not force you to anything. LOL

Isn't it funny when someone complains about not understanding and they make similar mistakes themselves.

It doesn't take very long does it.

No. You didn't literally force me. There is more meaning to the word "force" in the context of debate. Make a different choice.
