Gods Name Fallacy

Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God/Elohim

In the beginning
בְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית (bə·rê·šîṯ)
Preposition-b | Noun - feminine singular
Strong's Hebrew 7225: 1) first, beginning, best, chief 1a) beginning 1b) first 1c) chief 1d) choice part

God
אֱלֹהִ֑ים (’ĕ·lō·hîm)
Noun - masculine plural

Strong's Hebrew 430: 1) (plural) 1a) rulers, judges 1b) divine ones 1c) angels 1d) gods 2) (plural intensive-singular meaning) 2a) god, goddess 2b) godlike one 2c) works or special possessions of God 2d) the (true) God 2e) God

Elohim is always PLURAL = "Let US make man in OUR Image according to OUR likeness"

Exodus 3:15 = PLURAL

Moreover Elohim said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘
The YHWH ELOHIM of your fathers:
#1.) the Elohenu(Plural) of Abraham/Father
#2.) the Elohenu(Plural) of Isaac/Son
#3.) the Elohenu(Plural) of Jacob/Holy Spirit

This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.
In the Hebrew language-Elohim translates-The supreme one or mighty one for the true God. You post trinitarian view. Hebrew scholars know the language better than any trinitarian. Yes-YHWH(Jehovah) is the name-- Jehovah, God of your Fathers=YHWH Elohim

GINOLJC, to all.
first, thanks for the reply, second, the Right hand of God is an anthropomorphism in symbolic understanding of being in POWER. he has "ALL POWER". there is no one next to anyone. for Revelation 4 states only ONE Sits on, on, on, the throne. now since you acknowledge, "We know there is only 1 God", Good, Great..... 101G agree. now back to my original question, "is this JESUS, the Almighty God, sitting on the throne in chapter 4 of Revelation?" and also is is not the JESUS standing before the throne that he is setting on... (Smile), in chapter 5. is this correct, YES or NO?.

if yes, please explain, and if not please explain. will be looking for your answer,

thanks in advance.

101G.
Twisting reality does not make a truth. It misleads one to not enter Gods kingdom.

There are no scriptures that say YHWH created all things through Jesus.

If you intentionally speak a lie against the WORD that was God, then you willfully sin against God and you will not inherit Eternal Life.

Genesis 1: 1-3
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not [a]comprehend it.

Colossians 1:15-18
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

X3? follow the Path, ELOHIM(PLURAL) said. Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

now we need to correctly understand how God went from a "US", "OUR", a plurality in verse 26 to a "HIS", "HE" a singularity in the very next verse 27.

101G.

Jesus sat at the right hand of God-there is one God, thus it is not Jesus. He did not sit at his own right hand.
K... K....K, listen Right Hand means IN POWER, yes, it is the Lord Jesus who sits. for only ONE Sits, for it is only ONE THRONE. supportive scripture, Revelation 4:1 "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter." Revelation 4:2 "And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." Revelation 4:3 "And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald."

verse 2 states, only ONE THRONE WAS SET in heaven. and two, only ONE person sat on that One THRONE. there is no throne next to this throne.... ok.

now, 101G say it is the Lord Jesus who sits on this throne. if you disagree and say your Jehovah sits on the throne, then 101G has only ONE question for you. "who gave your Jehovah ... "POWER?" because the ONE who sit on the throne received POWER, Listen. Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

now, if it is your Jehovah whom you calls the Father that sits on the throne, please post book, chapter, and verse as to who is more powerful than the Father to give the Father POWER. so please post book, chapter, and verse, as to who gave your Jehovah "POWER?".

looking to hear from you soon.

This is the Mystery of Elohim that has been revealed to us in the Gospel and the Apostles Letters and finally Revelation.

"Let Us make man in Our image according to our likeness" which is revealed in "If you have seen Me you have seen the Father"

Its kind of hard to say Jesus did not pre exist His physical birth as a man if He was there during the creation account of all things and was equal with the Father in creating all things that came into existence.

yes, for he was to come of himself in flesh. supportive scripture, Romans 5:14 "Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come."

Jesus got the crown-Rev 6:2-- According to the Daniel prophecy=1914. Not when he returned to heaven.

through him? Colossians 1:16 "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"

by his "OWN" Word he Jesus, the Spirit, created all things. these modern translation us through which is misleading, for the Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary of American English clear up the Matter. Listen and Learn, 3. Through, or with, denoting the agent, means, instrument or cause. and Isaiah 44:24 states he was "BY, BY, BY, HIMSELF" and as the Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary states, Through or "WITH", and WITH is the SAME one person, just as the First is .... "WITH" ...the Last.... LOL, Oh Dear, or as John 1:1 states, the Word was "WITH" God, and .... listen "and the Word was God". bingo, the same One Person. because Isaiah 44:24 states he was "ALONE", and if ALONE, there is no one else to go through..... (smile)... LOL, LOL, LOL, Oh dear,... when will they ever Learn. PLEASE read a dictionary First.... ok.

(smile) .... LOL, yes, the Lord Jesus has the CROWN, and he is the ONLY ONE sitting on the throne.... o_O YIKES! ERROR, listen and Learn, Hebrews 1:3 "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;"

so try again......... (smile).

Colossians chapter 1

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth; as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
that you may walk worthy of the Lord(Jesus), fully pleasing Him,
being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

He(the LORD/YHWH) is the image of the invisible God/FATHER, the firstborn over all creation

is not Christ a man, just as Adam? according to the Flesh, so being Christ is no difference, so please answer my question, "the IMAGE of GOD is Man. but a question. can an Image exist without the source being FIRST? "
