God's grace to forgive and transform is not conditioned to recognizing Jesus' deity, blood atonement or physical resurrection

Good Post

Here is the irrevocable LAW that God laid down = "the soul that sins shall die"

Adam & Eve sinned and that sin contaminated the entire human race because ALL have sinned and fallen short of the GLORY of GOD

The Lord Jesus Christ NEVER sinned and therefore DEATH & the GRAVE was powerless to keep JESUS Body in the GRAVE
1 Corinthians 15:55-57

Where, O Death, is your victory?
Where, O Death, is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, who gives us
the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
How powerful words!
You are not afraid of death, because death cannot separate you from God.
The victory over death is the victory over fear of dying.
Those who love God fear no more.

.“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. Whoever fears is not perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18)
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present nor things to come, 39 neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38,39)

In the end of the day, we all pray to a sort of virtual God… let me explain myself: we pray to the God we can conceive in our minds, which is light years from the God who actually exists.

Personally I suspect next Manifestation from God will be a woman.
wong on every level for a born again Christian who believes Gods word.

Believers have the mind of Christ, the Spirit of Christ in them. We have become new creations in Christ. We know God personally in a relationship with Him 24/7 just like any other relationship with another living person. I know Him intimately and vice versa.

Romans 8:5-14-Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God

Colossians 3:1-10- Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.5 Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. 6 For it is because of these things that the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you also, rid yourselves of all of them: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene speech from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices, 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it

1 Peter 1:13-16 Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.

Galatians 5:16-18- So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16- However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,

“Who has known the mind of the Lord
so as to instruct him?”

But we have the mind of Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Romans 12:1-2-Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ephesians 4:17-25-Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. 18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. 19 They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. 20 But that is not the way you learned Christ!— 21 assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, 22 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires,23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Philippians 2:1-5 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Philippians 4:8-Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.

Proverbs 4:23- Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.

Proverbs 23:7
- As a man thinks in his heart so is he. Cf Deut 4:9, Proverbs 4. Col 3:23, Prov 22:29

hope this helps !!!

The victory over death is the victory over fear of dying.
Those who love God fear no more.
those who fear God obey him. (and that's why we need Christ). for it is the beginning of the wisdom, and understanding of God. Psalms 111:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever."

I understand what you mean, mY brother…. but I was not referring to that salvific personal, spiritual knowledge of God that comes from walking in his grace and love.
Certainly, a little kid, an illiterate peasant in Africa and a drug addicted homeless person in downtown San Francisco can repent, know the love of God and get “the mind of Christ”.
I was referring to an intellectual understanding of Who God is.
Such intellectual understanding will always be light-years away from the reality of God.

The context of my answer to @synergy is that the 3 persons of our scenario (the Sikh, the Catholic priest and the person who prays to an AI-generated version of Jesus) visualized God in different limited ways, but such limitations were not limits for God’s grace.
None of them are right intellectually about God, but they all are recipients of God’s love, forgiveness and transformation.

@Pancho Frijoles,
Just asking, "Why do you say the next Manifestation is a WOMAN?".... just curious.

false teachng is why as God will not be using a woman to speak for Him in the last days but in fact His 2 witnesses which are men. Then the Messiah/God will return as He promised to set up His kingdom on this earth during the millennium and rule and reign.

Don’t call it a teaching because it is not.
I said “Personally I suspect”.
It is a hunch. No more than that.

one cannot bypass Jesus and be saved. the gospel of salvation is all about Him. He alone is the Savior of the World- no one comes to the Father except by/through Him. He is the name above all names. He is the way, the truth and the life. He is the only name by which men can be saved.

Not Allah, Mohammed, Pope, Mary, Joseph Smith, Zororaster, Buddah, Elron Hubbard, Krishna, Moroni, Moses, Elijah, David, John the Baptist, The Apostles. None of them can save anyone from their sins. None of them died for the Sins of the World, None of them were sinless. None of them rose from the dead.

No Jesus no salvation, not knowing Him no eternal life. He alone is Lord that one must confess to be saved. There is salvation in no one else, no other name. Bible 101.

Bottom line here is we have 2 difference sources for truth. Mine is the Bible only, not what I think or what other religions teach. I go by the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles which are one in the same inspired by God- no other book is inspired by God since every other writing contradicts the New Testament teachings of Jesus and the Apostles.

speaking for God is a no brainer, for in Christ there is neither male nor female, (which is another topic, as well as the two witness, whom 101G believes has come and gone). but why the manifestation of God as a woman?

That would be a separate discussion but it is just a personal hunch based on my private interpretation of some Bahai texts.
well many are on a hunch now, even as we speak... (smile). if you like, why not start a topic on it? a good discussion may reveal more than what we all have today.

agreed,

God will not be using a woman in the Last Days to speak for Him as a prophet. We see this in Matthew 24 and the book of Revelation. Its why we read about the deception of the world by the great HARLOT.

The world has no spiritual discernment when it comes to the order God has placed in the marriage of a man/woman and the Church and its leadership. Gods 2 institutions in Scripture. The foundation for family in both the earthly and spiritual families. Its Gods Divine design and the world hates Gods design. Just look at our society where the genders no longer exist.

Do I need the spell out the difference in the roles between men and women in both the home and the church ?
101G know them, just asking for your difference, to see if they line up with the word of God.... that's all. so, how are men and women different in the church especially in Leadership?

Just like the home. Men are the leaders in the home and both Paul and Peter in their writings give us the difference in their roles in both the home and church.

The Elders are men whom the whole church submits to in the body of Christ. Elders are male, not female. Deacons are male, deaconesses are female. The deacons submit to the elders. Females submit to men in both the home and the church, The Son submits to the Father. Thats the biblical model.

Bottom line here is we have 2 difference sources for truth. Mine is the Bible only,
Then I respectfully invite you to expand your sources of truth.
When my Mother was Jehovah Witness she boasted to belong to a 100% biblical organization.
I wondered why would that be something to boast about.

nonsense,
1 Corinthians 12:28 "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues."

And set here is ordain. G5087 τίθημι tithemi (tiy'-thee-miy) v.
θέω theo (the'-ō) [an alternate in certain tenses]
1. to place.
2. (properly) to lay in a passive or horizontal posture.
{in the widest application, literally and figuratively; differs from G2476, which properly denotes an upright and active position, while G2749 is properly reflexive and utterly prostrate}
[a prolonged form of a primary theo theh'-o (which is used only as alternate in certain tenses)]
KJV: + advise, appoint, bow, commit, conceive, give, X kneel down, lay (aside, down, up), make, ordain, purpose, put, set (forth), settle, sink down

And are not women “prophets?”, well then they are ordained by God. and do not prophets preach? ... yes, and as 1 Corinthians 12:28 states they are "SET" in the CHURCH.

do you agree with the scriptures?

101G

we are discussing elders in the church and their authority.

nice dodge.

and there are no prophets/apostles in the church today- that ended when John died who wrote Revelation- He was both the last Prophet and Apostle in the church.
