An option for "secular" music on a Christian forum.. and that's a good thing, as not all secular music is Devil owned and operated, just as not all "christian" artists, are the real deal.

I know.
Her latest album is quite "pop & RnB"..., somewhat secular.
She is sort of the Amy Grant, type, who wants to be Katy Perry, but also invited back to church.
This particular song of her's is "somewhat' in the style of a believer, lyrically.

Many Motown and R&B entertainers grew up in a church.

Considering that probably 95% of the Motown line up grew up in churches that's a good sign!

Not just R&B. Some of the best love songs of the 60's came out of Motown as well.

I was actively a musician in those days and this white boy fell in love with with many Motown and R&B hits.
