I love them all and find a deeper understanding to them when I read my Bible. We can do that here, just share your "Favorite Bible Verse" and what it means to you.

I found this one just to day.

For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth so that He may support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this; therefore, from now on you will have wars.”
2 Chronicles 16:9

It comes with both encouragement and a warning. The verse underscores the importance of our having a sincere and wholehearted commitment to God. It teaches us that God is always ready to strengthen and support those who remain steadfast in their faith and loyalty to Him. This promise of divine assistance gives us encouragement to stay devoted and reliant on Him, knowing that He is ever-present and willing to empower us in our journey of faith.

GENESIS 9:16

Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds,
I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant
between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.

After every torrential storm there’s a rainbow.
Rainbows are caused by the reflection and refraction of water droplets illuminated by the sun, thereby creating a spectrum of light in the sky. Rainbows appear during the transition of rain to sun. After a dark and torrential storm, a rainbow is beautiful to look at.

God used this rainbow reminder to tell His people that He won’t break a promise. The most devastating natural disaster had just occurred: the total and complete flooding of the earth, wiping out all human and animal life except for one relatively small remnant—Noah, his family, and the animals in the ark.

He promised Noah, and every descendant after him, that He would never do that again. As long as we see rainbows in the sky, we can know another flood like that won’t strike again.

When we face devastating storms, we must remember that God’s promises also shine like rainbows. God promises His love and mercy. Jesus promised to never leave us. He promised a place for us, where there is no crying or pain. The Holy Spirit is promised to intercede for us.

Those promises are beautiful to remember as we recover from the after-effects of our storms. Trust them. They are as evident and as real as a rainbow in the sky.

Most Encouraging Verses of the Bible

Just Found these two. I really like them.

1 I love the LORD, because he has heard
my voice and my supplications.
2 Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
Ps 116"1-2

What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Romans 6:1

We have died to sin when we surrendered our lives to the Lordship of Christ. We don't want sin, or its power, to have control over us. We don't want to take lightly the awful cost Jesus paid to cover our sin.

Be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might.
Ephesians 6:10

This verse encourages us to be strong in our faith and rely on God's power rather than our own strength. This verse also serves as a reminder that spiritual strength comes from the Lord, especially when facing challenges and spiritual battles.

PSALM 118

1 O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his steadfast love endures for ever!

I just posted this one, brought back old memories.

You are good all the time
All the time You are good (say it again)
(You are), You are good all the time
All the time You are good
You are good all the time
All the time You are good

Philippians 4:6
Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

The book of Philippians is a letter written by Paul to the church in Philippi. It is Paul’s warmest letter, to a group of people he dearly loved, who were a strong support system for him. And he wrote it while in prison in Rome—can you imagine writing a letter encouraging others while you are in prison? In the letter Paul teaches about genuine Christianity. Here, in the final chapter he gives practical advice and encouragement for how the people should live as Christ followers and how they can have peace in a world of rejection.
