Do you love the truth?

Hear ye the parable of the high tower .
There once was a tower built very very high , so high it went up into the clouds .
And within its top sat great and mighty renown scholarly men .
There was chutes which came down from the four corners at the top .
And every morning , noon and evening
The great and mighty scholars and wise in thier own eye leaders who sat atop this tower
Would ring out over the loud horn
COME YE and eat of our food and drink of our water .
And three times a day the peoples ran
and down the chutes flowed such a golden water
followed by chocolate bread brownies .
One day a true sheep was passing by
and he took notice of the tower and said
HEY have you all ever noticed that there is no way up
nor can they come down . these mighty men that you have exalted into this tower
and made your gods .
So the peoples quickly railed on the sheep .
But again the sheep said
Have you noticed there is no way up or down .
And they cried with one voice , THESE are our leaders , they are our gods
we cannot go to them nor they to us , they are highly exalted
and they feed us the pure and holy golden waters of truth
and the brown baked brownies of pure and holy bread of heaven .
To which the lamb said
OH they do feed ye what ye think is heavenly food
But if they cannot come down and yet cannot go up
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED how and where they go to the bathroom .
Ponder on that for a while david and you will soon see what these leaders feed this people .

Praise the Lord.

"Simply put" = this is the grade school level of simplicity by which God wrote the Holy Scriptures
David,

You asked on another thread, which is now closed to replies (I think),
what texts I read. These days I only read His words, scripture.
I retired from the rest...

I translate for myself. I do that because I believe the texts
were mistranslated by pharisee scribes, who remained anonymous,
unlike the prophets and apostles who are
named to us by God ... we know who they are
as souls of God.

My method of translating is probably also different but
that would be another subject, for some other thread if the topic ever came up
of how to translate the texts of His words to us. I've seen how scholars use
empirical methods to do it..but I don't think the prophets did
that... since they were listening directly to God and what He said
to write... I will not extend this line of thought here though
since it is a different thread and I don't want to sidetrack
the current conversations...

all christianity is relying on own (human) translations... ... for that matter...
but i dont rely on own natural mind when translating...
im staying away from the other translations and all those
commentaries, endless commentary I do not trust..

I will look at the video tonight.

but the most important thing is to Hear Him...
and as for translating, i can do that and don't need academics
telling me how... based on some esau descartes or augustine..

I can read and learn and not rely on them.

none of the early christians
needed any modern bible...
it wasnt entirely compiled... lol...
they got by without all this apologetics,
theology, training in college by often snake bible 'experts'...
so certainly in their souls they had to Hear Him
and to me, it's too bad it was all compiled...
*by whoever*
since then every error could creep in.

I never trip on English translations of the Bible. I have most on them. I like my New King James and know it well. I've wore-out 3 of them so I know what the say.

But the main thing for me is that I let the Holy Spirit interprets scripture for me.

The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in helping believers understand and interpret the Bible. While anyone can read the words of Scripture, The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in helping believers understand and interpret the Bible.

Anyone can read the words of Scripture, the Holy Spirit illuminates the text, allowing believers to grasp its deeper meaning and apply it to their lives. This process, often referred to as "illumination," is essential for understanding the Bible's spiritual truths This process, often referred to as "illumination," is essential for understanding the Bible's spiritual truths.
Don't let your process take a recess.
