Do Catholics Pray to Mary?

I see that you couldn't find the word "Trinity" and yet it's still true. Right?
Same thing for the meter/mother of God.
That's all I needed to know.
i do not adhere to the word 'trinity'

i DO adhere to "Let Us make man in Our image according to Our likeness" = THREE

i DO adhere to Genesis which tells us Who the THREE are.

i DO adhere to the Gospel that shows us Who the THREE are.

i have said "i DO" to the Marriage invitation of which i was invited too and am now Betrothed to MESSIAH

Scripture only declares that Mary was the meter of Jesus.

JESUS declares that HE has many mothers = Matthew 12:46-50

While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him.
Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”

But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?”
And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!
For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and
mother.

@synergy - Can you count how many mother's JESUS has, for JESUS says HE has many mothers.

No where in scripture is Mary referred to as the mother of God.

Mary went on to have others sons after Jesus.

And it was told Him by some, who said, “Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You.” But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” Luke 8:20-21
Catholics believe that Jesus is God, as stated in the Nicene Creed, which affirms that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God and consubstantial with the Father. This belief is central to the Catholic faith. Mary is the mother of Jesus and Jesus is God in the flesh

Before the birth of Christ, the prophet Isaiah foretold the coming of God’s Son: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6). When the angel spoke to Joseph and announced the impending birth of Jesus, he alluded to Isaiah’s prophecy: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God with us’)" (Matthew 1:23). This did not mean they were to name the baby Immanuel; it meant that "God with us" was the baby’s identity. Jesus was God coming in the flesh to dwell with man.

Before i answer - did you carefully examine the words of the LORD i posted in post #302
i like king David and i like trees

God made us to be absolutely dependent on trees so that we can breath in the oxygen they breath out.
Likewise, the trees breath in what we breath out.

In the midst of the Garden is the Tree of Life

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. - Revelation 22:1-2

@GodsGrace

Fran, are you not consider carefully what I have posted? Obviously you are not. I said:

Btw, the JW's believe that Jesus a son of God~if they truly believed that Jesus was THE Son of God, by conception, then they would have to believe that he is equal to God even the Jews understood this truth.

John 10:32

“Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Never seen a JW that was a Calvinist, or even close to being one, they believe much like you on the doctrine of salvation. They are about as confused as you are. The good thing for you is that you do not reject Jesus' deity as they do. They are not children of God.
Have you missed my point?
Is Jesus God?
Did Mary birth Him?
Is Mary Jesus' mother?

If not,,,then WHO is Jesus' mother?

Please review post #302 for your UP-lifting IN-sight to Truth from God's Mouth to your ears and heart.
Post 302 is edit in REGARD TO THIS topic.
I won't even get into it.

But you haven't replied to MY questions:

Is Jesus God?
Did Jesus have a mother?
Was Mary that mother?
Is Mary the Mother of God?

or you could ask it like this:

Is Jesus God?
Did Mary birth Him?
Is Mary Jesus' mother?

Same difference.

Plus, my question to you is also this:
WHY does this bother you so much?

You made a claim that post 302 is Edit.

Please post, from post 302, what you call "edit"
The VERSE you posted for support does NOT support your position.

It is Edit for you to have posted THAT verse in trying to prove your position.

It DOES NOT work.

So it's nonsense.

It behooves you to point out how the words of the LORD are nonsense to you.

And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!

Matthew 12:46-50 is about Jesus redefining the concept of family by emphasizing that spiritual kinship with those who do the will of God is of greater importance than biological relationships.

When Jesus says that those who do God’s will are His family, He is emphasizing the importance of spiritual connections and relationships over biological ones. This verse challenges us to rethink our understanding of family and recognize that our bond with God and with others who follow His will is what truly defines our kinship. It invites us to consider the depth of our spiritual connections and the value of being part of a community of believers who share a common faith and purpose.

OK
Whoever does the will of Jesus' Father is HIS FAMILY. Matthew 12:46
We are adopted into the family of God. Ephesians 1:5
Jesus is the first fruit of many. James 1:18

It has nothing to do with Jesus having "many mothers", as you've posted.

Jesus also said that we should hate our mother and our father. (Luke 14:26).
Do you think that's what He really meant?

AMEN AMEN AMEN

JESUS is the One who said HE has many brothers, sisters and mothers = i believe His word
JESUS also said that the woman by whom God prepared a body for the Word is on the same as everyone who believes.

ABSOLUTELY TRUE

And this does not negate His words = Matt 12:46-50
For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

Have either of you found a single Scripture and/or commandment to pray to Mary from the LORD or the Apostles???
