Did Jesus Shed His Humanity at the Ascension?

our bodies are not being transformed,we are, We are not our bodies
Our bodies will be exchanged for the new heavenly ones,
Exactly. We're in the process of being transformed into his image. Our bodies are part of our physical makeup at the We're in the process of being transformed into his image our bodies are part of our physical makeup at the moment.

“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31).

When we love God with all of our strength that's the strength of our bodies. Our actions, A good deeds, storing up up treasures in heaven.

The mind and body are considered by many to be two different things. The mind is responsible for thinking, and the body is responsible for doing. However, both our conscious and unconscious minds can affect our biological functioning.

We are a new humanity but still humanity. We don't become some other kind of creation. Just as a new breed of dog is still a dog, we are a new breed of human beings. It isn't revealed yet just what that will look like, but if we are walking by means of the Spirit, we should be getting a taste of things to come.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
you contradict yourself. on one hand you say we will still be of the same kind of creation, then you quote scripture to say it is a NEW creation.
Where specifically do you read we will still be human? Just one verse would be enough to convince me, And if you don't know any verse, why are you persuaded? Do you see any evidence that your body is being transformed. or just natural decay?

So what's wrong Seth with believing he's an exalted man? Exalted meaning his physicals body received and upgrade at the resurrection ? That wouldn't in my opinion not make him a man or member of humanity anymore would it? Why should you think so?

Well surely you agree right that Jesus body was glorified? Why can't you believe it was the same body but upgraded?

So again why can't you believe he can have that and be in a glorified body?
And what does it say about us or God's intent even for us? This may blow people's minds but here's what it says,

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Eph 3:17

That doesn't mean we'll be God of course not but it states we can become filled with all the fulness of God. So will that mean we're not humanity any more or of the MAN species? I can't figure out why you say it wouldn't.
Amen brother !!!

He is Risen, He is Risen indeed !!!

How does the ascension confirm His body of flesh went into heaven?
Can you give that a little thought and then explain from scripture and logic how you reached your concluson? Please keep it short, we can always ask for further ellucidation. WE know He did not take His body to the land of the dead, and we also know that no one recognized Him after He resurrected

Curious what say you since you mentioned land of the dead (where we are now) ?

The current reality is the land of the dead, and is death just as God warned. Death is not His Nature... but is a different type of Nature without God. We left eden - a real place of His type of Nature and having His signature which was His creation - this being a cosmological separation from God (Life): After the fall we were blocked from His creation and land for us, Eden. So we are not there now. This earth is not His creation and eden is not on it.

Recap... Flesh of the current type of Degraded Nature cannot enter eden paradise... souls of eden lost our nature of paradise... (His nature for us). Re-surrection when His souls meet Christ on the clouds is a restoration of His original nature for us, a return to His creation declared good and restoring our Original body made by God.

His eden paradise represents life and being with God. This current place is death.

This type of current human is not the original nature He gave man in His creation in the other reality where eden is. It dies, sweats, suffers in childbirth: He warned about this. Explicitly He says this is death.

This current reality and earth and body
resulted after the fall and is a foreign Nature.

The physical (sin-) nature of this fallen realm is based on death, entropy, illness, struggle, pain. When His 144k meet Christ on the clouds this fallen reality will end for us and we will be with God in paradise.

I think the answer to the question is, no Jesus did not shed his humanity at the Ascension.

19 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God. [Ps. 110:1.]20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it). Mk 16:19–20.

The Ascension is a discrete element of Christ the mediator. It marks his entry into supreme authority over the creation. The Ascension is, I think, a subject richer and more instructive than is commonly recognized. A description of the event occurs in only two places in the New Testament, both written by Luke (Luke 24:50-51, Acts 1:6-11) but the New Testament refers to it in many places and it is also foreshadowed in the Old Testament.

The dramatic departure of the risen Christ from His earthly, bodily ministry among His followers. Since His birth in Bethlehem by the miracle of the *Incarnation, Jesus had lived physically on earth. But forty days after the Resurrection, His earthly ministry ceased with His ascension into heaven . To a large extent the Ascension was for the benefit of Jesus’ followers. They could no longer expect His physical presence. They must now wait for the promised Holy Spirit through whom the work of Jesus would continue.Jesus’ departure into heaven was a literal, physical, bodily ascension in His resurrected body.

Stephen and Paul both reported seeing Jesus in bodily form after His ascension. The Ascension marked the beginning of Christ’s intercession for His followers at the right hand of God. There He makes continual intercession for all believers . Although Christ is not physically present with His people today, He is no less concerned for them or less active on their behalf. Christians enjoy peace, hope, and security because Christ is their advocate with the Father. It is as the exalted Lord that Jesus sent or “poured out” the Holy Spirit upon His church, with His gifts for believers.

Heaven’s strategy determined that the presence of Jesus would be replaced by the presence of the Holy Spirit, who could be everywhere at the same time. Since Pentecost until today, Jesus’ followers now enjoy the presence of the Spirit and the operation of the Spirit’s gifts through them, as the church pursues the mission Jesus ordered. As a result of His ascension, Jesus exercises His heavenly reign at the right hand of the Father as Lord of the church.

This reign will last until His *Second Coming, when He will return to the earth as the reigning Messiah, announced as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Finally, the ascension of Christ is the pledge of His Second Coming:

“This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven” Acts 1:11

Jesus will return to earth—literally and physically—in bodily form just as He ascended into heaven. He's coming back!

Maybe YES

Revelation 1:12-16

Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

Maybe BOTH

I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

Definitely BOTH for the WORD was never a man from Eternity
