Who said you don't?I have 2 desires, coffee and tea, I can't make up my mind, I take a coin and flip it, the outcome decides. I still have a free will to ignore the result.

Define free will

Did evil always existed? What do you mean by root??
So then, why argue?Who said you don't?![]()
Free will goes any direction, good and bad.Define free will
Its dead[Spiritual relationship with God], alienated from the life of God. Death is separation. Like when men are physically dead, their physical life is non existence, even though their soulish life may exist in another realm Lk 16, but their physical life is over with, dead.Spiritually, being dead is a relational concept. We are not friends/family but enemies. We are not connected to or in concert with the things of God or his goodness. Sin separates us from God.
Our spiritual nature is broken, not unfunctional. It does not function as it should, and thus cannot be what it was created to do.
In my opinion, it shows that its functionality seeks other things instead of God. It’s not operating properly when propelled by the sinful nature, but it is not non-existent/dead/ non functional per se!

Who is arguing? So then, why argue?
Free will goes any direction, good and bad.
Besides, free will is not in Scripture, there is only the will of God and the human will.
You can't deny we humans have a will.
And our will can make good and/or bad decisions.
Before creation? Nope.Did evil always existed?
If not, what is the root / reason.
Before creation? Nope.
Among humanity? The fall
Duh! Absence of Spiritual life is due to lack of relationship.Spiritually dead means absence of Spiritual life.
This isn’t my first day of Sunday school…When you are born again you are a new creation with a new understanding.
IbidYou are made aware of Spiritual things, among other things.
The word “Trinity” is not in scripture either yet just like free will it’s trueWho is arguing?
Free will is not in scripture? Yet you believe it correct?
No one denys humans have a will. No one denys we make good and bad decisions.
The capacity to choose between various options without hinderance or mandate by another’s will.Define free will
The word “Trinity” is not in scripture either yet just like free will it’s true![]()
Sure,, who has ever said otherwise???Exactly, due to the human will.
Except the will of God right? The capacity to choose between various options without hinderance or mandate by another’s will.
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
Josh 24:15

I know free will is true. Never said otherwise. The word “Trinity” is not in scripture either yet just like free will it’s true![]()
Good. Then we agree. It is pissibleDuh! Absence of Spiritual life is due to lack of relationship.

which was freeExactly, due to the human will.
Yes I agreeThe expression "free will" is often denied by some folks, hence I switch to "human will" then and that is harder to deny.
The root of evil is that the Lord gave His creatures a will of their own.
Sure,, who has ever said otherwise???
This verse is good tooCool, then to (just) 2 of your posts, #163 and #186
#163 - You will is not determined but your choices are.
That's not what we just agreed to. A&E fell because they made a bad choice, if their choice was determined how can they be blamed?
#186 - Did Christ save the whole world yes or no?
Context -
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
whoever - is a condition based on the human will.
might be - depends on whoever. And whoever is not all.
Meaning, your question is not a valid one, the passage doesn't say, not even imply, that Christ would save the whole world.
