'And they sung a new song, saying,
Thou art worthy to take the book,
.. and to open the seals thereof:
.... for thou wast slain,
...... and hast redeemed us to God
........ by Thy blood
.......... out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:
and we shall reign on the earth.'
(Rev 5:9-10)
Hello again, @brightfame,
These elect are the saints spoken of and referred to in Matt. 24:31, and Daniel 7:18, 22, 27.
'And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet,
and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other.'
(Mat 24:31)
'But the saints of the most High
shall take the kingdom,
and possess the kingdom for ever,
even for ever and ever.'
(Dan 7:18)
'I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints,
and prevailed against them;
Until the Ancient of days came,
and judgment was given to the saints of the most High;
and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.'
(Dan 7:21-22)
'And the kingdom and dominion,
and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven,
shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High,
Whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'
(Dan 7:27)
* They are, 'the saints of the Most High': 'The Most High', being a Divine title, always used in connection with the earth; and not with the Church.
'And from Jesus Christ,
.. Who is the faithful witness,
.... and the first begotten of the dead,
...... and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto Him that loved us,
.. and washed us from our sins in His Own blood,
.... And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father;
...... to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.
Amen.'
(Rev 1:5-6)
* The book of Revelation is Israel centric, it is not about the Church (see Exodus 9:6).
Thank you
In Christ Jesus
