It's going to be embarrassing watching Red Baker not be able to produce any examples of the trinity in the Bible and the debate never move past that point. Any debate must be built on correct premise or there isn't debate to be had. If Red Baker cannot prove that there is a trinity in the first place, then it's a debate over a non-existent straw man.
Are you in or out?

1st John 5:7

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

So, whoever wants to go first have at it. It's open ready to go.
Let's wait until Monday so I can see when we are leaving to go out of town to see a great grandson that was born. I'll know by tomorrow after a few phone calls.

How can folks be so 100 percent sure of themselves and also be so 100 percent wrong?

It seems to suggest the trinity folks already believe Jesus is God. It's the first thing they are told. Then they go to the Bible to search for proof to support it. Thus, all their Scripture is seen in that light. And all of it is taken out of context, or not understood how the words were used in the culture they were written in, or from a bad translation. So their whole religion to be able to worship God in the spirit and walk in that spirit is false.

You ask, "How can this be"? How can a person be so committed, so zealous to worship an "Image of God" that isn't God?

I think Paul answers the question.

Rom. 1: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

They have made some awful judgments against the God and Father of the Lord's Christ, so they just created their own god. Nothing new at all. It's been going on since the very beginning.

If @Runningman agrees to this then I have a rule myself. We deal with one topic at a time. We stay with one verse at a time. No 35 verses at once throwing everything on the wall at once and hoping something will stick.

I saw this Friday on another site...

I WANT TO DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO A RHETORICAL TACTIC BEING DEPLOYED HERE — KNOWN AS THE GISH GALLOP. THIS IS A DEBATE STRATEGY WHERE ONE SIDE FIRES OFF A MASSIVE NUMBER OF ARGUMENTS, POINTS, AND CLAIMS IN RAPID SUCCESSION, WITH THE CLEAR INTENT TO OVERWHELM AND EXHAUST ANYONE TRYING TO RESPOND.

THE PURPOSE OF A GISH GALLOP IS NOT TO ENGAGE IN HONEST DIALOGUE OR FAIR DISCUSSION. INSTEAD, IT SEEKS TO FLOOD THE CONVERSATION WITH SO MANY POINTS THAT NO ONE CAN REASONABLY ADDRESS THEM ALL, CREATING THE FALSE IMPRESSION THAT THE ARGUMENTS ARE INSURMOUNTABLE OR THAT THE OTHER SIDE HAS NO ANSWER.

THIS IS AN ILLEGITIMATE PRACTICE THAT UNDERMINES MEANINGFUL DEBATE, STALLS REASONABLE INVESTIGATION, AND PROMOTES CONFUSION OVER CLARITY. IF YOU VALUE INTELLECTUAL HONESTY AND SERIOUS SCRIPTURAL EXAMINATION, I URGE YOU TO RECOGNIZE THIS STRATEGY FOR WHAT IT IS AND NOT ALLOW IT TO DISTRACT FROM THE CORE ISSUES.

LET’S FOCUS ON QUALITY OVER QUANTITY AND ENGAGE WITH SCRIPTURE IN A FAIR, CLEAR, AND HONEST MANNER — NOT WITH RHETORICAL FLOODING INTENDED TO DROWN TRUTH IN A SEA OF WORDS.
Is it you and Keiw? I think I read someone say the debate is already full. If that changes ping me and I'll hop in. Otherwise, you'll do fine.

Ok Monday it is. but we are all looking forward to it.

@Studyman
Trusting, believing, loving Jesus Christ as the True God, is far from being guilty of Romans 1:21 ~ those who reject Jesus Christ in his deity as the God of Genesis 1:1 are guilty of....., "they glorified him not as God"

Studyman, you are a blowhard, join the debate or move on, in your little world of thinking you are all along standing for the truth.

It is not full, no one has heard from Keiw. Hop in.

@Studyman

Then join the debate, if you feel confidence that you have the truth. Put your money where your mouth is as the old saying goes.

For over 10 years I have tried to discuss what the scriptures actually say with you in countless posts, hundreds of questions you refused to answer, hundreds of Scriptures you refused to acknowledge.

Everyone on this forum knows I am not afraid to discuss scriptures, or even Philosophies. But there comes a time, which to my shame probably came to pass long ago, where the discourse became vain jangling. After all, the Jesus "of the Bible" does say:

Luke 16: 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Who am I to argue with the Lord's Christ?

Okay.

@Peterlag

We shall see....I trust the word of God that my forefathers trusted in, I refuse to enter into a fruitless of Greek speculations! The Greeks were known for seeking after wisdom, and they never found it, for true wisdom in to be found in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

1st Corinthians 1:24

“But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”
Your Bible (New Testament) came from the Greek translations. If we can't look at the Greek and their customs. Then we are done with the debate.
