No thats you, and I have and others have explained it to you numerous of times. You just dont believe the word of God.You seem not to comprehend what "in the flesh" means.

When you do, you might begin with an explanation of God's discourse with Cain in Genesis 4:7, That clearly presents God responding to the "works" of Cain. There is not any indication that Cain's actions result from God not blessing Cain or Cain not finding favor or finding grace in the eyes of God, thus limiting Cain's ability to respond favorably in God's eyes.
I thought I might get a smile from someone~thanks brother.Daniel 10:20
“Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.”
And there we have it. Your entire reaction and response to the issues here derive from your belief in the false doctrine of Total Depravity. And since it is false, conclusions reached under the adherence to that false doctrine are likely to be false as well.@Seabass
So, you are telling me, that somehow Noah escaped being born dead in tresspasses and sin, a child of disobedience that all men are by nature, and you got that from such verses as what you are quoting from above?
Yeah that they were evil. 1 Jn 3:12When you do, you might begin with an explanation of God's discourse with Cain in Genesis 4:7, That clearly presents God responding to the "works" of Cain.
You have scripture for this wild speculative assertion ?Yes, Noah escaped being born dead in trespasses and sin.
---The idea of original sin or total depravity are total fabrications made up by man...false man-made doctrines I totally and fully reject.@Seabass
So, you are telling me, that somehow Noah escaped being born dead in tresspasses and sin, a child of disobedience that all men are by nature, and you got that from such verses as what you are quoting from above? Or, are you saying Noah made himself this way after he was born into this world through Adam's generation? It got to be either or, since you reject the truth of the holy scriptures that God alone makes the difference among men.
You said in a mocking manner like @Studyman does when speaking against God's election of grace:
"So the context does not show Noah just as a random person picked out of a hat or that by a flip of a coin that God bestowed grace upon Noah for some random, capricious, unconditional or unknown reason."
Do I need to remind you that the word of God is one cohesive whole of a truth, on whatever that truth may be, so if it does not mention a certain truth when speaking of a person, that prove nothing and certainly does not mean that the word of God does not teach that truth that is under consideration. Of course you know this, but you men are showing no fear of God by handling his word so recklessly, and so disrespectfully, just to push a lie that you have come to accept. I stand with with Paul and other men who are honest and handle God's word with fear and trembling.
1st Corinthians 4:7
“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?”
You answer this, for I know that any good in me, is the results of God's grace toward me, man has no goodness, not even a drop of it apart from the grace of God, and if you think you do, then you are going against the testimony of the word of God, and you are seeking glory that you do not have and will never have, and one day you will see that this is so.
Enough said for now toward your vain words, that seeks to lift man instead of placing all the glory on the head of Jesus Christ where it totally should be and will be in that day.
Revelation 4:10,11
“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
Oh my you really do not get it. Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?Yeah that they were evil. 1 Jn 3:12
Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
The sacrifice he presented to the Lord God was evil, though no doubt done in sincerity
The Bible. It says that God is good, holy, loving, merciful, gracious. God would not, does not condemn anyone for the sins and failures of another or sins and failures not committed. You have scripture for this wild speculative assertion ?
@Seabass

Okay Doug, you're next.Faith is NOT an evidence of being born of God.
- Proof of Regeneration: True faith in Jesus as the Son of God is not natural, or, of the flesh; it is a "birthmark" showing that God has already performed the new birth in a person's soul.
- It Is Not a Cause: The new birth is a sovereign act of God (John 3:8) that results in a person having the faith to believe, rather than faith being the human action that triggers God to regenerate them. (As you vainly believe)
- Distinction from Devils: While devils believe in a monotheistic God (James 2:19), saving faith is a personal, trusting commitment to Jesus Christ~ proven by godly works
- Active Evidence: This faith works to overcome the world, demonstrating a change of nature from dead in sin to alive in Christ.
- Further Evidence of the New Birth ~ as we said above
- Love of the Brethren: A new love for God's children is a sign of being born of God (1s tJohn 4:7).
- Righteousness and Obedience: A change in life, specifically the pursuit of righteousness and ceasing to live in habitual sin. 1st John has so many scriptures teaching this truth.
Doug, it is not our faith, but Christ's faith and obedience! Ephesians 2:8.9 is very easy to understand if one has the true gospel of Jesus Christ, which you folks do not. I have said many times over, which @ Jim knows and has heard it many times from me concerning this wonderful scriptures . Please consider: Ephesians 2:8:Eph 2:8-9 says that God's grace comes to us THROUGH faith, meaning that faith MUST be present BEFORE God's grace is put upon us. Faith is the conduit through which God's grace comes to us.
Red highlighted done by me for discussion.I am not inventing ways for man to participate in his own salvation, far from it. I am acknowledging the conditions God placed upon receipt of His gift of salvation.
Legally, there are no conditions practically in order to have a true understanding of the gospel? YES, there are a few conditions that man can do and means that are used to accomplish this salvation, and men that play a part in our practical salvation of coming unto a more perfect understanding of the gospel. This, my friend, is where you are wrong.
Read Rom 10:9-10. It says clearly and explicitly that the physical action of confessing Jesus as Lord results in our receiving salvation.
Read Acts 2:38. It says clearly and explicitly that the physical action of repenting of sin and being baptized results in receiving forgiveness of sin and receiving the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Read Gal 3:26-27. It says that those who have been baptized have been clothed with Christ and adopted into God's family.
Read Acts 3:19. It says that man must repent of sin and turn to God in order to receive forgiveness of that sin.
Yes, there are things that man can and must do in order to receive God's blessing of salvation. Yes, we are still enemies of His and dead to Him until we have been cleansed through the washing of water through the Word of God (Eph 5:26-27).
--No one has ever been saved/justified while living in defiance/disobedience to God's will. Not obeying God';s will would have put Noah in with that wicked generation and face the same condemnation in the flood.@Seabass
You sir are so wrong, blinded by your love of self-confidence in your sinful flesh, wherein God's own testimony testified many times:
Romans 7:18
“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.”
I find not, that is ~ "in my flesh"! But you believe many good things dwells in our sinful flesh that we all received from Adam. Either you or the word of God is a lie, and we all know that it is not the scriptures.
The very reason why men are sinners is that they are not immutable, but mutable created being, and when left to themselves without God preserving them, they sin and become children of disobedience. You men get it all wrong from the very start, and if it is so, and it is, then it is impossible to end up correct on your teachings.
Noah was born again by the sovereign grace of God, and he built the ark as a result of that grace-enabled faith, not as a requirement to receive it. Read the record in the word of God instead of making up a theory as you go, in order to defend your work gospel. The first things the scriptures said of Noah is recorded here:
Genesis 6:8,9
“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. “These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.”
Again~Noah was born again by the sovereign grace of God, and he built the ark as a result of that grace-enabled faith, not as a requirement to receive it. The scriptures support our teaching of sovereign grace, not your work gospel that you are peddling.
I could go to 1st Peter 3, to add more to this one point, but for now I forbear for time sake.
Rom 9 does not support Calvinism but refutes it.Practically speaking, yes, legally, no. Have you ever read about Lot?
1) Because God simply will to love Noah and for no other reason. Consider:
Unconditional Election: Jacob and Esau were chosen or rejected before they had done anything good or bad, proving that God’s choice is not based on human works.
Sovereign Will: God chooses whom He will, and this decision is entirely within His power and eternal purposes, intended to show that election depends on the "Him who calls".
Rejection of Merit: The scriptures notes that Jacob was not inherently righteous, so the choice was not based on good deeds. Instead, it was an act of mercy towards Jacob, while Esau was passed over.
Purpose of Election: The purpose was to show that God's plan for salvation is not hereditary or based on human effort, but on His purpose.
2) A question that can only be answer without men like you gainsaying it, would be using such scriptures as:
Ephesians 1:5
“Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,”Ephesians 1:7
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”Ephesians 1:9
“Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:”
Ezekiel 36:26,27
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”
Noah, like men before and after him did that which was right in God's sight based upon the eternal purposes of God, it was impossible for them to do otherwise as far as righteousness goes, when left to themselves it "only added proof" that we are what we are by the grace of God only, or, we would be as all those that perish.
1st Corinthians 15:10
“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
If this grace is kept from us but for a mamnet, then we would fall into any sin under heaven, just ask David when you see, or Lot. We have no confidence in our flesh, not one bit of confidence, and neither should you, but I'm sure that will fall on deaf ears unless God intervenes.
I'll come back and pick up with I left off with your post, keep from being too long to read and profit thereby.
Okay. if you do well ? But he couldnt do well. He was in the flesh. He didnt have the gift of faith given him as it was given to Abel. Heb 11:4Oh my you really do not get it. Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?
Gen 4:7 "If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up?
Show it then, I hear your wind blowing. The Bible. It says that God is good, holy, loving, merciful, gracious. God would not, does not condemn anyone for the sins and failures of another or sins and failures not committed.
Any and all men are speaking against God when they go against the word of God, especially so the gospel of Jesus Christ, and free justification through Christ's faith and obedience alone for that free justification of sinners ~ be whoever that may be.I certainly am not speaking against God, or making judgments against God in any way.
Exalting myself? I have said many times over, I'm nothing but a sinner, born totally depraved and at enmity against God in way way possible. As is your custom, to exalt yourself
Amen, guilty as charged concerning Noah.In "your" religion, God created many humans, but only chose Noah based on nothing he chose to do, and "made him" a Just man and walked with him.
Oh no, they chose death over life in Adam! And would have even done it much quicker in their fallen state where sin reigns in the old man's members, which it did not in Adam before he sinned. Try to present what others believes honestly without spinning their beliefs to exalt your own position, I know that's hard for you, but please make an attempt to do so.While the rest of the people God created, God condemned to suffering and drowning, based on nothing they chose to do.
Not sure when Abraham was regenerated, but yes, God called him (and Lot btw) alone among the heathens he lived among. Do you have problem with that, if so take it up with God when you see him ~ I love to be there to see your face in that day when that happens. And yes based on nothing Abraham did, for he was just as wicked as they were, maybe worse, who knows. You promote in "your" adopted religion, that God called Abraham alone when he was over 70 years old, based on nothing he did, but withheld His calling from the rest of men, based on nothing they did.
Let me give you a verse to ponder:Then when Abraham was standing outside of Sodom, in "Your" religion, God withheld from the men of Sodom the ability to seek Him and Yield themselves to God's Righteousness, based on nothing the men of this city chose to do.
You men reject the blessed truth of election of pure grace for your fleshly work gospel whereas man has an active role in his salvation from sin and condemnation. That is not the God "of the Bibles" election of Grace as defined by His Holy Scriptures Red. That is "Your" adopted religious philosophy, a wicked and evil judgment against God, that existed in the world God placed us in since the first false preacher ever recorded, told Eve, " Ye shall not surely die".
Tell it like it is.I certainly am not speaking against God, or making judgments against God in any way. As is your custom, to exalt yourself you must demean others and make up falsehoods against them. The mainstream preachers of Jesus Time, and Jeremiah's time, and Paul's time, adopted the same practice. It's a popular religious tradition exercised by the promoters of this world's religious philosophies that has existed since before Moses was accused of bring Israel into the desert to die..
I am speaking out against "YOUR" preaching RED, not God's. You "speak a vision of your own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD."
In "your" religion, God created many humans, but only chose Noah based on nothing he chose to do, and "made him" a Just man and walked with him. While the rest of the people God created, God condemned to suffering and drowning, based on nothing they chose to do. In like manner, you promote that God "made" Ham look at the nakedness of his father, based on nothing Ham ever did, while "making" his other two brothers obedient, based on nothing they did. You promote in "your" adopted religion, that God called Abraham alone when he was over 70 years old, based on nothing he did, but withheld His calling from the rest of men, based on nothing they did. A Teaching even Paul refutes. Implying that Lot was simply lucky to be able to tag along, but God "made" his wife look back and be destroyed, based on nothing she ever did. Then when Abraham was standing outside of Sodom, in "Your" religion, God withheld from the men of Sodom the ability to seek Him and Yield themselves to God's Righteousness, based on nothing the men of this city chose to do. Then slaughtered the entire city, "BECAUSE" there was no one righteous there. While at the same time "made" Abraham obey HIM, and then blessed Abraham "Because that Abraham obeyed God's voice, and kept God's charge, God's commandments, God's statutes, and my laws.
You have, of your own free will, chosen to adopt a religion that has created an "image" of God in the likeness of an unjust liar, who commands all men to obey Him, tells them they can obey Him, then withholds the ability of them to obey Him based on nothing they do, and then destroys and tortures them for eternity, "Because" they didn't obey Him.
Most of your deception is caused by your free will rejection and refusal to believe the Word of God when HE tells all men to "Deny themself", "Yield themself", "Submit themself", "humble themself", "offer themself". Having adopted instead the very popular religious philosophy of this world, that God's chosen are chosen based on nothing they do, and those not chosen, are destroyed based on nothing they do.
No doubt, since you don't believe Christ's Sayings through Moses and the Prophets, when HE inspired them to call all men to;
"Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?",
then you will not be persuaded when the Same Christ becomes a man, who is killed and raised from the dead, tells you;
"And he said "to them all", If any man will come after me, let him "deny himself", and "take up his cross daily", and follow me.
Imagine a God so unjust that HE tells "ALL MEN" under heaven, as Paul teaches, to "deny themselves" and follow Him. But then, based on nothing they do or choose, Withholds from them the capacity to do so, then torments them for eternity, "Because" they didn't deny themselves and follow Him.
I will never again submit this world's religions Red. And I will never make such an evil and wicked judgment against Christ, or His Father, the God and Father of all.
I sincerely wish you would consider these things and repent and stop promoting such an image of God.
Romans 9:18
“Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.”
So, let me ask you a question ~Did God work in Pharaoh to make his heart harden, or as I know and teach, did he just left Pharaoh "to the deceitfulness of his own heart" without showing him mercy? I know the truth, but you hate and resist the truth.
Yes. Scripture you quoted said it Rom 9:18So, let me ask you a question ~Did God work in Pharaoh to make his heart harden,
To sinners in unbelief, ask Paul 1 Tim 1:13He has already told you who HE shows mercy to Red.
Say it ain’t so!And there we have it. Your entire reaction and response to the issues here derive from your belief in the false doctrine of Total Depravity.
