What 1000 earthly kingdom?

So I'm curious Tom. If Jesus reign is over when he comes back what about the New World. So you do not think Christ will reign then too? Not sure how all this fits together. It will be a reign then too right?
Yes I do but according to scripture there is a particular reign which comes to an end at the advent

1 Corinthians 15:22–28 (KJV 1900) — 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Civic, where does Matthew 25 state that the believers will enter the Millennium period? There's no mention of a Millennium in that chapter. Where does Revelation 20:6 state that immortal believers will rule and reign over mortal believers who escaped the Tribulation? That verse says that they will reign with Him, but there's no mention of who they will reign over. And what verse tells us that there actually is a 7 year Tribulation?
Matthew 25....

Is that the only chapter of the Bible you read?

You fail to answer the objection and your reply is weak

if a verse teaches Christ judges all at his advent and all are assigned their eternal destiny

there can be no millenium at that time as no verse can contradict another

Matthew 25:31–33 (NASB 2020) — 31 “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left.

It was a simple question.
For someone who continues to claim to be intellectually superior to me, you sure so a piss poor job of handling the simplest possible elements of dialog.

if a verse teaches Christ judges all at his advent and all are assigned their eternal destiny
Code for- if Jesus does what I say he should do, it'll be clear to everyone, and only the stupidest people will miss it.

Case in point.

Still not able to actually answer a simple question.

And you wonder why I don't take you seriously.

Your vulgar talk is not honoring to the Lord. Ephes. 4:20 Let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth.

SteveB said "Code for- if Jesus does what I say he should do, it'll be clear to everyone, and only the stupidest people will miss it."

You also put words into other peoples mouths, as if they are attacking the character of those who disagree with them.
Its too bad you don't have the ability to show Christian love to other posters. The only knowledge you have contributed to this post is the number of chapters and verses in the Bible.
And yet you accuse TomL of not being able to handle the simplest elements of dialogue.
Try looking in the mirror before you talk.

It was the original question I'd asked you.

Are you going to answer it, or criticize me because you believe you're superior?

It was nothing but a dodge and rather irrelevant. Unless you think the bible contradicts itself, it was rather lacking in rationality.

Once again we see you do not address biblical objections to your theology and you do not form your beliefs based on the whole council of God.

So, asking you if Matthew 25 is the only chapter in the Bible that you read when there are 1189 chapters, and 31,102 verses in the entire Bible is delusional?

Ok.
I'm going to let you enjoy your opinions. It's obvious you're only interested in being right.

You ran from the implications of the passage and while ignoring it you pretended as though you were asking something with relevancy

There was none

If a passage states Christ when he returns judges and assigns all their final destiny there is no need to go anywhere else

You needed to address it, but you didn't

Well, if you view my questions as irrelevant, then I'd say that you are irrelevant.

Never said otherwise.

I needed to address it?
Says who?
You?
I needed to first understand why you believe you can narrowly focus on a couple passages, when there are several dozen passages throughout the entire Bible which discuss the issue
It's like you're so desperate to appear erudite before men, you're straining out gnats, while swallowing camels.

Since you state my understanding your reasoning is irrelevant then I'd say you've just made yourself irrelevant.

Especially when it's been several months that I've tried reasoning with you, asking questions, trying to understand why you work so hard to force far more detailed issues into tiny one passage scriptures.

Rather curious thing is, you've worked so assiduously at trying to win an argument, you've utterly ignored the questions I've asked, which has resulted in you making yourself utterly irrelevant.

Before, only atheists have achieved that.
Now someone who professes the name of Jesus is doing so.

Don't worry though.

You've won.

And in winning....

You lose.

Not only did TomL win the theological argument, but he also won the Christian character award. You lost both.

So let me respond to TomL's point the way you could have, but didn't want to because it doesn't fit your dispensational viewpoint. By the way, TomL, your theological point was excellent. I have never heard that before, but it is spot on. We know that Matthew 25:31 is about Jesus' 2nd coming: "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory ..."
We also see in verses 34, 41, and 46 that all of mankind will be given their eternal judgment at His 2nd coming. So how could there be one thousand more years of men living on the earth? They were already judged at His 2nd coming.
Also 1 Cor. 15:26 Again at His 2nd coming (verse 22) "The last enemy that will be abolished is death." So if death is destroyed at His 2nd coming, there cannot be 1000 more years of men living on the earth, during which there would be death.
To suggest that TomL or any like-minded Christian only reads one chapter in the Bible - is mockery, which aligns perfectly with the character that you've displayed so far.

Thankfully, I wasn't looking for an award.
I'm looking for Truth.
Objective, reliable, accurate TRUTH.

So far, neither of you have provided anything I can corroborate. You're definitely failing to assist me understand what you're talking about.

You're doing a bang up job of stroking each other's egos though.

I was taught early on in my walk with Jesus to take diligence to learn to Love.

1Co 16:14 WEB Let all that you do be done in love.

I'm sure, like you, i had my own ideas of what genuine love was. I've been learning for the past several decades that love isn't anything like i thought it was.

Imagine my surprise unfolding as I became more and more acquainted with scripture.

Pro 27:5-6 WEB 5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love. 6 The wounds of a friend are faithful, although the kisses of an enemy are profuse.

Psa 141:5 WEB Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness; let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; don’t let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.

Pro 28:4 WEB Those who forsake the law praise the wicked; but those who keep the law contend with them.

1Co 13:4-8 WEB 4 Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, 5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 6 doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

So, do I offend you? So far you haven't demonstrated anything that would give me pause to think that's a problem?

Even Jesus was offensive to others.

He even told us...

Mat 10:34-36 WEB 34 “Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 A man’s foes will be those of his own household.
He even told us... happy is the man who isn't offended by me.
Mat 11:6 WEB Blessed is he who finds no occasion for stumbling in me.”
Joh 6:60-70 WEB 60 Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying! Who can listen to it?” 61 But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble? 62 Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life. 64 But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him. 65 He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.” 66 At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. 67 Jesus said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 70 Jesus answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
so, carry on, and feel free to continue to criticize me.

I do have a more efficient method of resolving this.

You lose.

Matthew 25:31–46 (KJV 1900) — 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

2 Peter 3:4–13 (KJV 1900) — 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Nope. Bu5 you obviously need to believe that, so go right ahead.

Nope.
Several were. It became quite clear early on that under no circumstances whatsoever would you answer or listen.
So why would I waste the time of so illustrious an ego?
