The Prayers of Calvinism

No, I don't mean that.

I mean thanking God for child abusers, etc.

Yes it’s horrible. I would curse the devil, not thank God.

If I were a Calvinist, I would probably just argue although it's logically valid, Scripture doesn't command us to pray that way.

For whatever mysterious reasons God might have.

I wouldn't really use this argument against Calvinism in particular.

The issue is relative to hypocrisy of belief.

I don't believe that "modern" Calvinist actually know the struggle believing in "Calvinism" brings to the concepts of prayer. I don't know the times I've heard a Calvinist reference C.S. Lewis in reference to prayer.....

Huge problem. C.S. Lewis wasn't a Calvinist. He believed that God had limited His power in determinism to afford man choice of character.

Huge issue with thoughts of prayer.

Just this morning we witnessed it with a hyper who refuses to respond to God/ Christs command to love your enemies ( not hate them) and to pray for them.

That is the heart of God. Not the out of context / pretext of psalm 5:5
