The Gospel Of Salvation

@Dizerner

Yes, it does, this is a simple logical error.

No it doesnt, it makes sense that He prays for them He loves and were given to Him by the Father

9 pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

That would be His Sheep Jn 10:28-29

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

The error is in your doctrine, To refuse to pray for someone you Love

Yes.

It's weird what you're doing with this. Jesus was not saying, "I pray not [EVER] for the world," he was saying, "I pray not [NOW] for the world."
Now Brother let's think this out relying only on Scripture/Gospel

We know that JESUS is the "Lamb that takes away the sins of the world"

We also know John 3:16

What else do we know from the Gospel of how a person comes to Salvation?

The evangelist didn't consider important to mention anything good about the Roman soldiers that cast lots over Jesus garments at the cross.
As far as logic tell us, they were not disciples of Jesus, and most probably, they were polytheists. They had not repented or baptized. They were not feeling emotionally touched in their hearts.
Yet Jesus prayed for them. What was the rationale Jesus presented to God in their defense?
