The Eternal Son

Ephesians 1:7-9 (NKJV) 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,
i LIKE it but not the one

@FreeInChrist do you have another scripture?

John 5:37 JESUS says no one has heard the Father's Voice at any time
PARADOX = John 6:45 "everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to ME"

There is one more direct paradox to this in Chapter 1 of a certain NT Letter

I would read that as, no one Jesus is currently addressing.

It's quite apparent people have heard the Father's voice many times in Scripture.

How ‘bout …
1 Corinthians 1:4-7 (NKJV) 4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, 5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Like but not the scripture we are looking for

In 7 minutes i will post it unless someone else finds and posts

Just one more. I don’t give up easily. :]
1 Timothy 1:12-15 (NKJV) 12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting [me] into the ministry, 13 although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did [it] ignorantly in unbelief. 14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 15 This [is] a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Here is the Paradox = Hebrews 1:1

JESUS said: "no one has heard the Father's Voice at any time

Hebrews 1:1 - God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2has in these last days spoken to us by His Son,

Please solve the Paradox

I thought we were waiting for you to reveal the paradox now. Heyyyyyy, play fair.
Paradox Solved

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Then the man and his wife heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the breeze of the day, and they hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

It was the WORD that was God who was Speaking to Adam/Eve and Moses and the prophets.

More Evidence = 1 Peter 1:10-11
Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them

More Evidence = Matthew 23:37-39
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her!
How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ”

@DavidTree .

This was interesting and fun. Thank you.

But what also might be interesting is to do something similar, not necessarily on paradoxes per se but seeming contradictions in the scriptures of the new testament from various books and letters.

Example.

Romans 3:28 nasb95 28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
James 2:24 nasb95 24 You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

Romans 3:28 KJV 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
James 2:24 KJV 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

Unfortunately I have to shut this down for the day, but Ill check tomorrow on your opinion.

Blessings
