Tensions in Calvin’s Idea of Predestination

Yes they were. Was levi in Abraham ad payed tithes b4 he existed according to Heb 7:9-10

9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
Sorry, nowhere in the Bible are any apart from believers stated to be in Christ.

In fact we read

Ephesians 2:12 (LEB) — 12 that you were at that time apart from Christ, alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, not having hope, and without God in the world.

Your theology is anti biblical

But Levi still had to pay his own tithes. His biological tissue traces back into Abraham but he wasn't alive back then. Levi inherited Abraham's covenant environment. It didn't guarantee that his descendents or Levi would keep it.
