Open Debate on the "Eternal Sonship vs Incarnate Sonship which is biblical?"

This "seed of God" didn't grow. It didn't change. It didn't become..... It has always been. Complete. Perfect. Without beginning or end.

What grew and changed was the seed of Mary.
A. the Seed of God , (the Son of God), because it was BORN, GREW. the Son of man was Given, (spirit), which was neither begotten nor born. ... ETERNAL. supportive scripture, Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Sure. A child was born. Messiah. Immanuel. The child of Mary. God isn't a child. This "union" has been debated for many many years. I love the debate. Take this journey with me.

It doesn't matter if you're a modalist. You're going to probably agree with me before this is over. You can be a Trinitarian.

thanks Duane, but is man a three person being?

@Duane is 1000% correct

peeking_smiley.gif I am not responding here.

God is a Trinity. Hence the 1,2 and 3.

Man is a tripartite being. Hence

The three parts of man are referred to in this verse: the body of man which is made of the dust of the ground, the spirit breathed into man's nostrils by the LORD God and the soul which is the union of the other two. Man is a Tripartite Being

Simple example:

A little more complicated.

There are two passages from the Bible that clearly establish the fact that man has three parts.

A. 1 Thessalonians 5:23

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

This verse clearly states that man has three separate, distinct parts; the distinction maybe slight but they exist nevertheless.

B. Hebrews 4:12

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Although some people teach that the soul and spirit are two words that mean the same thing, this verse definitely tells us that they are divisible. While it’s true that the terms soul and spirit are used interchangeably in Scriptures, there are other passages where this is impossible.

Final comment: It had to be three in man. Now you figure out why.

Notice the difference between Hebrews 4:12 and 1 Thessalonians 5:23.

The debate between dichotomy and trichotomy is complicated. Adam was never "spiritual" in any sense of the "new birth". He had just a taste of life in his own spirit. A life that wasn't eternal.

1 Thess is speaking to those who have experienced the new birth.

my God how pitiful. why argue? will it get you any-where? REASON the word of God. and please take note that 101G is a "Diversified Oneness". ok.

and lastly ... LEARN the DIFFERENCE between the Son of God that grew, and the Son of Man that never change... (smile).

Learn that God is Plural in Persons.

why argue against the truth and kick against the pricks ?

So man doesn't change?

ERROR, for if that is true, then why did Jesus say that God is a SINGLE Person? read Matthews 19:3 and 4. and tell us if the Lord Jesus, who is God, Lied?

I don't believe most any of them understand any context of what "Person" actually means. They should try to understand. Most of them just go "nah"..... and walk away to stay where they're at.
see above, your answer please.

Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Mat 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

The context is one flesh. You really don't understand "Person".

Why are you conflating flesh and person?

1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence

Does your singular "Person" deserve glory?

I don't see you edit. Include it in response to me. I'm not chasing your narrative.

It doesn't matter to me if you found a few people who claim to be Trinitarians making such arguments. You said it was "most" Trinitarians. You lied. You're self serving.

You couldn't smash melted butter.
Jesus wasn’t with them anywhere in the Old Testament. Case closed.

yes, 101G understand PERSON, and FLESH, (smile).
the context is person of God. which the Lord Jesus said is SINGULAR in the BEGINNING. Matthew 19:3 "The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?" Matthew 19:4 "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,"

now ... READ CAREFULLY, the Lord Jesus said God is a HE. read it....

In that passage, if the three, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, can't be one, how then can God say that the male and female of marriage be one?

And BTW, Matthew 19:3-4 does not say that God is a single person.

I read that. I've read it before.

I can read "HE" in many verses of the Bible. Why did you point us to these verses and then run away from what they say?

In that passage, if the three, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, can't be one, how then can God say that the male and female of marriage be one?

That argument doesn't work because the one flesh is derived from the two. There is no sense of the Person of Jesus Christ being derived from something else.

Listen carefully. do not a single person have a "SOUL", even married persons have separate souls, who is one flesh in a marriage. is this not so? so their flesh is not the person. well God have a SOUL. and he is only ONE PERSON.
