Thanks, civic. I study just as you and try to make sense of the "so-great salvation" as others - if they are honest with Scripture.Some good food for thought

After all of that long explanation, your final concluding statement is very telling. What exactly is the "Gentile Church". This is the faulty foundation that all of what you write is based on. There is no such thing. You have read the teaching in the New Testament how there is no more Jew or Gentile, etc.?....snip.....
Because of Peter’s disobedience the Gentile Church has been paying for his error ever since.
Yeah, I know. The Gentile Church (which God began bringing in after the destruction of the Temple and the "ism" of Judaism and Judaic Christianity ended) like to insert themselves in the covenants God made with the House of Israel, even making every attempt to usurp them from their everlasting covenants with God love to interpret Galatians 3:28-29 from a Gentile mindset as though Saul was writing to Gentiles, but he was not. ALL the New Covenant writings of Jewish Christians (Saul, Peter, James, Matthew, John, etc.), were written to and for Jewish Christians in Jewish Churches throughout the then-known world (Corinth, Ephesus, Thessalonica, etc.)After all of that long explanation, your final concluding statement is very telling. May I answer the question you asked, what is the gentile church? I will be very brief and just give you a couple of things to think about and if you are interested I can add some things later.After all of that long explanation, your final concluding statement is very telling. Two peoples. One Jewish, one Gentile. God is betrothed to Israel and the Church Christ built beginning on Pentecost is a continuation of the Great Congregation in the desert at the time of the Tabernacle in which over 3 million Jews were in covenant with God.May I answer the question you asked, what is the gentile church? I will be very brief and just give you a couple of things to think about and if you are interested I can add some things later.
First, there are Jews and gentiles in the church, and the scriptures makes this clear. Here is the proof .
Galatians says this:
Ga 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Then the scriptures says this:
Ro 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.
And also the scripture says this:
Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
The "both" are Jewish believers and gentile believers.
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
The body is one but the entities that make it up are two different entities.
Here is more proof.
Gentiles
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Jews
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
These men did not stop being Jews or apostle when they became part of the church.
Back to the verses I quoted from Galatians and Romans;
Galatians was written in 49 AD and Romans was written in 58 AD. So Paul was not saying there were not Jews and gentiles in the church of Jesus Christ but he is saying there is no difference because they are equally sons and joint heirs in the family of God. Paul claims he was still a Jew in AD 58 and 9 years after he had written Galatians. We know he was still an apostle of Christ and now we know he was in the foundation of the church, which is a holy habitation of the Spirit of God and is strictly Jewish.
All the time of the apostolic age, Judah enjoyed a national identity among the nations with the possibility that her covenants could be realized. But because of her failure to embrace her Messiah and be saved during the 40 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and his offer to them of his life giving Spirit, which they refused, they were driven out of their land, their temple where God met with them nationally was destroyed and they were driven to gentile lands where they came under the laws of gentiles. In this sense they are now reckoned by God as gentiles and God has already prepared the church to carry the gospel to the world and they can be saved. From 70 AD, it is a gentile church. The 8 gentile women of the OT who were married to Jewish men, like Rahab the harlot and Ruth the Moabite woman are types of Christ's gentile bride.
You are going to have provide actual proof that you know exactly when those books were written . Without that, I don't accept what you write.May I answer the question you asked, what is the gentile church? I will be very brief and just give you a couple of things to think about and if you are interested I can add some things later.

Okay, I will not go into great detail now but will give you something to think on and we can talk later about it.You are going to have provide actual proof that you know exactly when those books were written . Without that, I don't accept what you write.
No. It is not possible to know the exact year the letters were written.Okay, I will not go into great detail now but will give you something to think on and we can talk later about it.
History tells us that Claudius gave order for all Jews to leave Rome in 54/55 AD. Paul would sometime later meet Aquila and Priscilla in Corinth and he would stay in Corinth for sometime and he wrote his letter to the Romans from there.
Acts 18:1 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome) and came unto them.
3 And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
5 And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
7 And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.
8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.
9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
Corinth is in Europe where Paul traveled on his second missionary journey. He went to Galatia on his first missionary journey and that was in Asia minor. Here is the conclusion of that campaign that had produced churches in Galatia.
Acts 14:27 And when they were come, and had gathered the church (in Antioch) together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
Ac 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command [them] to keep the law of Moses.
These are the men who undermined the preaching of the apostle Paul in the Galatian churches to which Paul wrote his letter, giving them his rebuke and instruction.
Even if you do not accept my dates you will acknowledge that Galatians was written some time before Romans.
Ga 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
One can see that it was soon after Paul won them to Christ that these false teachers showed up to preach salvation by the works of the law.
Now, will you believe me?
Now, find and post all you said from the Law, the Psalms, and the Prophets. Follow Saul's reasoning and understanding to see if he got it right. And if he got it 'right' then our understanding should come to the same conclusions. This is called 'rightly dividing the word of truth.' And let's not ignore all the New Covenant Scriptures were written to Jewish Christians (Jews who became born again) in Israel and Gentile lands where these Jewish home churches were and their attempt at understanding Messiah's effect on their covenants. And let's not forget Gentile proselytes who were the first 'Gentiles' to hear the gospel for they were attending synagogue when these born-again Jews returned from Pentecost and witnessed Messiah, Peter's sermon, and this 'Holy Spirit' that invaded their lives.May I answer the question you asked, what is the gentile church? Luke wrote what transpired and occurred. He is not teaching doctrine of the New Covenant.
No, Luke only wrote what happened in the first thirty years (roughly) as recounted to him.Luke wrote about the doctrine the first believers embraced.
