What would be the reason for producing scrolls that eventually became bound into a book explaining all fro beginning to end ifeveryone, including you, are locked into unbelief.
I actually see that in you.
You refuse many scriptures that counter your beliefs so therefore you may read but do not discern.
If man, including you are so locked away in unbelief... and dont say you are excluded because you are an elect, no one come to knowledge of such until they read or hear what is written and since all men were born that way then why the written word?
Haas it ever occurred to you that every single priest, minister, and rabbi from a pulpit have variations on what and how they teach? How about all the myriads of televangelists over the years since television came to be, or the soap box ministers on the corners, or the church and religious services on the computers.
Diversity is given a very new name here because even within denominations there is no general concensus on everything.
No two seminaries teach the same.
WHY?
So if the Heavenly Father "32 Fo
r God hath concluded them all[jew and gentile] in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all." is going to have mercy on all.... this seems to be a rather awkward way to handle things.
Lets face it.... If being elect is the only way, which defines my church's beliefs....
THEY HAVE FAILED BECAUSE THEY BABY BAPTISE.
Lets not talk on the RCC. Aside from qusi-appropriate prayers and worship, they also baby baptise.
SO THEY TOO HAVE FAILED.
and I could go right down the list and at the end ask you how few He will have mercy on, especially when those , like you, feel he will for you, dont get it right in your basic beliefs because some person translated a word a certain way and either the entire thing was changed by someone else or it was mass copied and not corrected when other definitions have come forth.
I currently am working with dia.
And the verse that says For it is by grace you have been
saved,
through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
You use this as do others here and look at the difference using another meaning for Greek dia from Strong's below
would make if
Bible > Strong's > Greek > 1223 1223.
dia Lexical Summary
dia: through, by,

IF it read like
For it is by grace you have been
saved,
because of faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Because this changes the meaning to perfect acceptance of free will.
Also would if they had chosen For it is by grace you have been
saved, for the sake of faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
But no.... the copy cats took the easy way ....
