Um you have taken a reference regarding reprobate Jews and attempted to apply the statement against all men.The scripture plainly teaches that none [by nature] will come to God in Christ Jn 5:40 cp Rom 3:11
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
John 5:36–40 (LEB) — 36 “But I have a testimony greater than John’s, for the works which the Father has given to me that I should complete them—the very works which I am doing—these testify about me, that the Father has sent me. 37 And the Father who sent me, that one has testified about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time nor seen his form. 38 And you do not have his word residing in yourselves, because the one whom that one sent, in this one you do not believe. 39 You search the scriptures because you think that you have eternal life in them, and it is these that testify about me. 40 And you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.
but yet
John 1:12–13 (LEB) — 12 But as many as received him—to those who believe in his name—he gave to them authority to become children of God, 13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a husband, but of God.
1 Corinthians 1:21 (LEB) — 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe.
The reality is God is seeking them, and they are able to respond to it.11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Yet another failure to consider contextScripture teaches that the unwillingness to come to God in Christ is founded in mans inability to do the same Jn 6:44,65
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
John 6:44 concerns those that were already God's
Such being God's would become Christ's
John 17:6 (LEB) — 6 “I have revealed your name to the men whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me, and they have kept your word.
and kept the word of God
They would hear and listen to God
John 6:45 (LEB) — 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who hears from the Father and learns comes to me.
The verse is simply not addressing the giving of unbelievers to Christ- The taking of unbelievers and making them believers.
