- Job’s world has collapsed, everything he knows has gone away from him!

- Think about losing everything the same day!

- How would you react?

- Forget your past, now it’s time to start from nothing!

- And Job accuses no one, on the contrary!

- BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

- EVERYBODY HAS HEARD JOB’S WORDS!

Welcome to our forum and Job’s faith in God was incredible. I couldn’t say if I’m being honest my faith would look anything like his faith . What a test , trial like no other man. And his friends on top of all of that .

- There was no one like him on earth!
- And he had no idea what was happening!
- He thought Yah.weh was against him!
- And it was so violent right at the beginning!
- And the devil did everything to break him!
- Even his wife!
- Even the people he helped!
- He was in such a bad mental and physical condition that he wanted to die!
- But he kept standing right in his boots!
- Nothing could prevent him from staying faithful to Yah.weh!

- He thought Yah.weh was against him!

- And the devil did everything to break him!
- Even his wife!
- Even the people he helped!
- He was in such a bad mental and physical condition that he wanted to die!

- Nothing could prevent him from staying faithful to Yah.weh!

Yes his faith in God was unshakeable and unwavering, it was incredible. It would probably crush me.

- That's why the devil wanted to break his relationship to Yah.weh!
- If he could have done it with Job, he could do it with anybody!
- But Job proved he was a liar!
- It also shows that we can stay faithful to Yah.weh whatever happens!
- It doesn't mean it is always easy!
- People can be depressed!
- Like Job, people may think there is no solution!
- Sometimes it is possible to think that death would be better!

- Here we have the testimony of Yah.weh about Job!

- IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH OR NOT?

- There is no one like him on earth!

- It doesn't matter what people say against him!

- He keeps faithful!

- And Yah.weh will give him back twice as much as what he lost!

Agreed and some good points and insights into what faith in God looks like in a practical way. What do you make of the disciples lack of faith who walked with Jesus daily for 3 years ?

- Yes that's why Jesus needed progressive teaching to teach them!
- That's also why he chose Paul to become the apostles of the nations!
- And Paul did the job without the other apostles!
- And he did an incredible job!
- He thought he was right!
- So jesus corrected him!
- And when he was put back on the right track, he went straight away!

Yes there was never anyone like him before or after. He stands alone in that regard as far as fallen human beings are concerned.

- Once again Job has lost everything, even his health, the only thing left is his life and he keeps maintaining his integrity and his faithfulness to God, he doesn’t follow his wife as Adam did and Adam was perfect! So think about that too!

Yes a good reminder for all of us to remain faithful to God regardless of our circumstances. And to be absent from the body ( through death of any kind) is to be present with the Lord. This world is not our home we are just a passing through. We are pilgrims, aliens and strangers as Peter tells us.

- Everybody without exception was against him!
- Thus it is an incredible example of faith!
- And at the end, Yah.weh asks him to pray for the three individuals to save their lives!

When they see him from a distance, they don’t recognize him!


- Think about that: they can’t even recognize him so imagine his physical condition!


- And I’m not speaking about his mental condition!

- Of course, Adam not only followed his wife but he said he ate because of Eve, the woman Yah.weh gave him!
- Thus he used his free will then he tried to find an excuse!
- But that's the usual way with human beings!
- They always accuse the others!
- And it's not going to change!
- On the contrary, job showed he was different from the other human beings!
- that's also why the devil tried to break his relationship to Yah.weh!
- Moreover, Adam received the commandment not to eat directly from Yah.weh and Eve from Adam!
