Is anyone else a Seer?

charismaticlady, you claim to hear God's voice directly almost immediately whenever you ask Him a question - and that this has been happening for many years.

Well, I just completed a study of the book of The Acts of the Apostles.

Paul's ministry was about 33 years long, from about 32-33 A.D. to 67-68 A.D. In ALL those 33 years, we have only ONE time recorded where Jesus spoke to him directly, and even that event is called "a heavenly vision". That was when Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damacus.
Jesus spoke to him again in a non-direct manner, also a vision, in Acts 22:17-21.

The Holy Spirit spoke directly to Philip in Acts 8:29

Jesus spoke to Peter in a vision in Acts 10:10
The Holy Spirit spoke directly to Peter in Acts 10:19

So in all of Acts, we have ONLY TWO times where the Holy Spirit spoke directly to anyone, and ONLY ONE time where Jesus spoke directly to anyone (Saul on the Damacus road), and ZERO times where God the Father spoke directly to anyone.

Yet you claim to have heard God's voice whenever you ask Him a question, and that that has been happening for many years!

So that means that you have heard God's voice hundreds, maybe thousands of times.

Paul only heard Jesus' voice once - at least only one time that is recorded.
It is recorded that Philip only heard the Holy Spirit directly one time.
It is recorded that Peter only heard the Holy Spirit directly one time.

My conclusion: You are NOT hearing the voice of God as often as you claim - and more likely, you are hearing the voice of the devil or one of his demons. That "voice" is from a different source, not God. Biblically, God doesn't speak to ANYONE in the Bible that many times, except maybe in the case of Jesus Himself. Even the prophets had periods of weeks or months where they didn't hear from God.

I said the same thing to her on another site and the management of that other site deleted what I said and banned me from posting. They said I was being rude to her by suggesting the devil was talking to her.

This is meant for LAMB,

You and I agree regarding charismaticlady "not sinning".

But we don't agree regarding Paul's command: "A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell in transgression." 1 Timothy 2:11-14

Also 1 Cor.14:34-38. Here Paul gives similar commands and additional commands. He reminds the reader that his commandments are ACTUALLY "the Lord's commandment."

So why would you disobey the Lord's commandment by teaching both women and men?
this body itself is susceptible to flesh needs and wants.
so of course, no one in this body escapes the flesh = sin.

Regarding sin unto death:

Sin unto death is about the discipline from God in a believers life, that can actually lead to physical death. Sin unto death is written to believers who are assured they have eternal life in the book of John.

For some reason, many Christians believe the only consequence for sin for believers is eternal hell, and not the discipline described in numerous passages of the NT for the believer.

Believers don't have any sin when they are in Christ.

What does that mean?

Absolutely every person, believer or not.. is not perfect, therefore has sin in their life to some degree.

A believer does have the Holy Spirit in their spirit . That cleansed spirit..does not sin. But they are still in an imperfect body..so still sin as a human being.

I don't see the word perfect in any of the following Scripture...

1 John 3 & 5
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not.

'Sinneth' is about continuing, habitual sin, which the believer usually would not do.

Also, the seed in the believer that never sins at all, is the Holy Spirit indwelling a believer. The sealed, cleansed spirit of the believer never sins.

My Bible does not say anything about continuing to sin. Here's a few more...

Romans 6
How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law,

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

being made free from sin, and become servants to God,

Yes, the believer is freed from sin. The believer would sin less..but not they can actually ever be 100 perfect.

You keep using words that I never saw in the Bible. One of the verses we are referring to says...

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

It does not say...

Whosoever abideth in him is perfect: whosoever is not perfect hath not seen him, neither known him.
