Inheriting Eternal life and Other Promises of God

25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
Luke 10:25–28.

"Inheritance" generally refers to the passing down of something from one entity to another.

This lawyer (Greek: "Nomikos" = noun, an expert in the (Mosaic) law) asks Jesus, "Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

Jesus directs the man to the Law of Moses and asks him how he understands the Law (of Moses) in context to his inheritance question. The lawyer responds by quoting Deuteronomy 6:5.

5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 6:5.

Although the lawyer doesn't state an exact quote of Deuteronomy 6:5, he does summarize the word "might" (Heb. "vehemence") by combining "strength" and "mind" as "might" in the sense of vehemence or "wholly" or "speedily."
In response to this Jesus tells the lawyer, "Thou hast answered right:" and instructs the lawyer, "this do and thou shalt live."

Conclusion: Obey the Law of Moses, specifically, the command "to love the LORD, and thou shalt live" (receive his inheritance.)

Does anyone have a problem with this conclusion? This lawyers' inheritance has nothing to do with "faith" or "accepting Jesus into 'your' heart", or "believing in Jesus Christ." Jesus has assigned eternal life as an inheritance. And rightly so, for being someone who was an "expert in the Law" the lawyer thoroughly tested Jesus' doctrine and knowledge of the Law of Moses and came up with the same understanding of not only having an inheritance but what it was that was being inherited. Simply put, the lawyer and Rabbi Jesus were on the same page: eternal life is an inheritance under the Law of Moses. This conclusion also plays into the apostle's statement in his letter to Jewish Christians in the Galatian region:

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:28–29.

So, we have one inheritance associated with the Mosaic Covenant in which eternal life is promised as an inheritance, and one inheritance associated with the Abraham Covenant (of land and other promises described in Genesis 12, 15, and 17.)
Many promises, one inheritance. And the inheritors are Abraham and his seed; a people later identified as the children of Israel.
But what about the New Covenant? What was promised by God in this covenant?

In Jeremiah 31:31-34, God promises a "New Covenant" that is distinct from the old covenant made with Israel when they came out of Egypt, which they broke. This New Covenant is characterized by a profound internal transformation and a complete and lasting forgiveness.

Here are the key promises, itemized:

A New Covenant with Israel and Judah: God declares that He will make a new covenant specifically with "the house of Israel and the house of Judah" (Jeremiah 31:31). This signifies a renewed and unified relationship with His people.

Internalized Law (Law on Their Hearts): Unlike the old covenant, which was written on stone tablets, God promises: "I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts" (Jeremiah 31:33). This implies an internal desire and inclination to obey God's will, rather than mere external adherence.

God as Their God, and They as His People: The fundamental covenant relationship is reaffirmed and deepened: "And I will be their God, and they shall be my people" (Jeremiah 31:33). This expresses a restored and intimate fellowship.

Universal Knowledge of God: There will be no need for individuals to teach one another to "Know the Lord," because "they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest" (Jeremiah 31:34). This speaks to a direct and personal relationship with God that will be widespread among His people.

Complete Forgiveness of Sins: God promises a radical and lasting forgiveness: "For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more" (Jeremiah 31:34). This highlights the removal of guilt and the permanent blotting out of transgressions, making a clean slate for the covenant relationship.

Abrahamic Covenant ---> Mosaic Covenant ---> New Covenant.

"It is finished!"

And all Israel shall be saved.

If you love God

John 8:42Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I have come forth from God and have come. For I have not come from myself, but that one sent me.
John 16:27For the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.
John 14:23Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves me he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and will take up residence with him.
1 John 5:1–12 (LEB) — 1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been fathered by God, and everyone who loves the father also loves the child fathered by him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God: whenever we love God and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God: that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome, 4 because everyone who is fathered by God conquers the world. And this is the victory which has conquered the world: our faith. 5 Now who is the one who conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ, not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify, 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood, and the three are in agreement. 9 If we receive the testimony of people, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that he has testified concerning his Son. 10 (The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning his Son.) 11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

No, I didn't.
I have proved my assertions very well. Careful thought goes into my every comment and the Scripture that supports them.
I make a comment and then post the Scripture that applies to it. I post a Scripture and then make a comment that explains it. You post Scripture. Period. You don't explain it you just post a Scripture - and sometimes long passages - and that's it. Well, I'm not going to entertain any more of your heresy. You're not a well discipled person who's been taught the Scripture under the anointing. You regurgitate textbook answers that don't hold water. I recognize the stuff you present as found in books. There's no original thinking on your part. Just copy and paste. The same ol' crap.

Hardly and I post scripture, hoping you will read and understand and comment on what it does say.

The sad fact is you just ignore scriptures that speak contrary to your theology and just assume God cannot add apart from Jews into his covenant.

This is just an assumption on your part and a denial of New Covenant scripture and even a denial of some Old Covenant scriptures where all nations are to be blessed.

Your error is that you elevate the New Covenant writings of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Saul, Peter, James, Jude, etc, above the Hebrew Scripture - Genesis to Malachi - and in this you look to uphold the Hebrew Scripture through use of the New Covenant writings, when it is the New Covenant writings that must correspond to the Hebrew Scripture.
You think yourself 'versed' in the NT at the expense of the Hebrew Scripture and fail to understand FIRST the original writings of the Hebrew Scripture in order to better understand the NT. You fail to follow Saul's method of interpretation of the Hebrew Scripture in light of the Acts of the Holy Spirit of Promise PROMISED TO ISRAEL. Saul as rabbi and Pharisee remained obedient to the Law of Moses and because of his unique experience as Pharisee and student of the Hebrew Scripture looked into the Hebrew Scripture to find relevant and corresponding passages that explained the acts the Holy Spirit and His moves upon the ancient covenant people identified as the Jews. Another error is your looking at the New Covenant writings of Matthew, James, Peter, Saul, etc., with a Gentile mindset and perspective of a Gentile rather than looking at the New Covenant writings in its religious and cultural aspect as Hebrew Scripture by Hebrew men of God who wrote those letters to Jews and Jewish Christians like a Jew with a Jewish mindset.

You're actually on the outside looking in and not on the inside looking out and this affects your ability to understand the Word of God entirely because of this Gentile-infused bias. Looking at the Hebrew writings from Genesis to Revelation as a Gentile with Gentile understanding interpret the Hebrew Scripture - Genesis to Revelation - as a Gentile completely void of Hebrew history, religious concepts, imagery, culture, and language, which line the pages of the Hebrew writings and the Hebrew authors writing to a Hebrew people. As a Gentile among Gentiles, you will turn out an interpretation of the Hebrew Scripture just like a Gentile will in every Gentile thought you make forming a Gentile conclusion.

And your conclusions will all be wrong.

Nope, it is your error to take Hebrew Old Testament scripture, which is limited on the realities of the New Covenant over that of the New Testament itself

Further, you imagine God is limited in his fulfillment of the New Covenant. As long as God fulfills what he has promised what right do you have to state God cannot bring others into the covenant.

The New Testament itself expounds on God bringing Gentiles into the body.

Ephesians 2:11–22 (LEB) — 11 Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, the so-called uncircumcision by the so-called circumcision in the flesh, made by hands, 12 that you were at that time apart from Christ, alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, not having hope, and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you, the ones who once were far away, have become near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who made both one and broke down the dividing wall of the partition, the enmity, in his flesh, 15 invalidating the law of commandments in ordinances, in order that he might create the two in himself into one new man, thus making peace, 16 and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, killing the enmity in himself. 17 And coming, he proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to the ones who were near, 18 because through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 Consequently, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens of the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are built up together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Even in the Old Testament were there verses which spoke of the blessing of nations unto truth and salvation

Isaiah 49:6 (LEB) — 6 And he says, “It is trivial for you to be a servant for me, to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel. I will give you as a light to the nations, to be my salvation to the end of the earth.”

Zechariah 2:11 (LEB) — 11 “Many nations will join themselves to Yahweh on that day, and they will be my people, and I will dwell in your midst. And you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me to you.

Isaiah 42:6 (LEB) — 6 “I am Yahweh; I have called you in righteousness, and I have grasped your hand and watched over you; and I have given you as a covenant of the people, as a light of the nations,

Sadly, you have rejected the word of God.
Yeah, well, I get tired of repeating myself also. When I read comments that contradict Scripture like yours do I immediately reject your positions since they are not based on the Old Testament - which is the Word of God. The New Covenant writings or letters written by Jewish Christians (Saul, Peter, James, John, Matthew, etc., write to Jews and Jewish Christians and I believe them to be written under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I understand their letters. They write upholding the Old Testament as their letters contain explanation and discussion of the New Covenant era Israel found herself in after Jesus' ascension and ON THE DAY of the Jewish Feast of Harvest also known as Pentecost. This is the birthday of the Jewish Church Jesus promised to build. On that day the Holy Spirit of Promise PROMISED TO ISRAEL came down from heaven as a mighty rushing wind and - as Jesus said - and indwelt the Christ-following eleven disciples who were all Jewish men and also - including Judas - were with Jesus in the upper room at Jesus' last Passover. The twelve disciples/apostles of the Lamb represent the twelve tribes of Israel. Jesus' prayer and offering was made for Israel - NOT GENTILES - proven by Jesus' words when He Jesus took the cup and broke the bread and said, "this cup is my blood of the new testament/covenant given/made FOR YOU (the twelve apostles/tribes and there were NO GENTILES at this Jewish religious observation corresponding to the first Passover made in Egypt during the time of Moses. Thus, the New Covenant in Jesus' body and blood is a covenant as Jeremiah said between God/Jesus and the House of Israel and the House of Judah. GENTILES WERE NOT INCLUDED in this New Covenant established by Jesus and initiated by the Holy Spirit of Promise of Pentecost circa AD 34. Look at the Scripture and be honest. Are there any Gentiles in the upper room with Jesus and the twelve apostles of the Lamb?

17 And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.
18 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.
19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?
20 And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.
21 The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
Mark 14:17–25.

I've highlighted verse 20, 23, and 24.

I know you're going to take verse 24 where Jesus says, "which is shed for many" to refer to Gentiles but you'd be wrong. There are only the twelve and Jesus at this Passover meal since Passover is a Jewish observance commemorating the night before Israel's release from bondage the following day in Egypt. There were no Gentiles included in the first Passover in Egypt - it was Gentiles who had the Jews in bondage and the Gentiles (Egypt) whose firstborn sons were killed by the Angel of Death that night of the first Passover in Egypt. By saying "many" the Holy Spirit was referencing what Isaiah said here:

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied:
By his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many;
For he shall bear their iniquities.
Isaiah 53:11.

And Isaiah's words correspond to Jeremiah's prophecy:

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying,
Know the LORD:
For they shall all know me,
From the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD:
For I will forgive their iniquity,
And I will remember their sin no more.
Jeremiah 31:34.

Jeremiah states "neighbor" and "brother" (verse 34) which harken back to the Mosaic Covenant in Leviticus where Moses delivers commands of the LORD to the children of Israel who were settled by God in plots of land surrounding the Tabernacle. Three tribes north of the Tabernacle, three tribes west of the Tabernacle, three tribes east of the Tabernacle, and three tribes south of the Tabernacle. From the air their encampments make the shape of a cross.
Moses speaking to the children of Israel also known as the twelve tribes of Israel:

15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:15–18.

In these verses Moses describes
"neighbor" verse 15
"thy people" and "thy neighbor" in verse 16
"thy brother" and "thy neighbor" in verse 17
"children of thy people" and "thy neighbor" in verse 18.

Clearly Moses is identifying based upon their encampments surrounding the Tabernacle of "thy neighbor" referring to a member of a tribe situated next to your tribe, and "thy people" as referring to a member of any tribe, and "thy brother" referring to a member of the same tribe, and "children of thy people" as referring to a member of any tribe.

Do you agree?

In the gospels Jesus brings up in Matthew the Law of Moses about love commanded to the children of Israel:

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust
Matthew 5:43–45.

"Thy neighbor" and "thine enemy" and "children of your Father" all referring to the children of Israel the Jews.

This would be an "updated" version of the command about love God gave to the children of Israel in Leviticus 19 by adding "thine enemy."
When Jesus said this the kingdom of Israel had many centuries ago divided after Solomon's death into two kingdoms, the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah, who warred against each other several times and when Jesus began His ministry there were still animosities between the tribes. As King of Israel Jesus makes attempt at bringing these two kingdoms into one kingdom under one King: Jesus.

Do you agree?

Let's forget about that Gentile teaching in your head regarding Jesus' words in Matthew to realize what Jesus is saying because I know the Gentile thinking on Jesus words in Matthew above have re-interpreted Jesus to mean "thy neighbor" as referring to a person or a family living next to you in an apartment complex, and "thy brother" as referring to a "fellow Gentile Christian believer/brother."

No. The original teaching in Leviticus about love as commanded by God is commanded to the twelve tribes of Israel - NOT Gentiles.

Do you agree with what God was trying to teach/command the twelve tribes of Israel in Leviticus?
Do you agree the original command and instruction of God on the subject on love is given to the children of Israel?

Now, you answer/respond.

So if written under the anointing of the Spirit you have no justification for ignoring them.

For example

Um the blood of Christ brought the gentiles near.

Ephesians 2:13 (LEB) — 13 But now in Christ Jesus you, the ones who once were far away, have become near by the blood of Christ.

Revelation 5:9 (LEB) — 9 And they were singing a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and bought people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation,

1 Timothy 2:5–6 (LEB) — 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and human beings, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time,

The gentiles received the Spirit

Acts 15:7–9 (LEB) — 7 And after there was much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, “Men and brothers, you know that in the early days God chose among you through my mouth that the Gentiles should hear the message of the gospel and believe. 8 And God, who knows the heart, testified to them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he also did to us. 9 And he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

Salvation

Acts 28:28 (LEB) — 28 Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles. They also will listen!”

Jeremiah states "neighbor" and "brother" (verse 34) which harken back to the Mosaic Covenant in Leviticus where Moses delivers commands of the LORD to the children of Israel who were settled by God in plots of land surrounding the Tabernacle. Three tribes north of the Tabernacle, three tribes west of the Tabernacle, three tribes east of the Tabernacle, and three tribes south of the Tabernacle. From the air their encampments make the shape of a cross.

You did not address this either.
See that. You're stuck on ignoring the Old Testament by elevating your false Gentile theology that had no place in any of the three Hebrew covenants. And because you fail to uphold the Law, the Psalms, and the Prophets - THE SAME SCRIPTURE JESUS UPHELD - you misinterpret the New Covenant writings in order to walk over the Old Testament Scripture Jesus upheld.

25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luke 24:25–27.

Saul also upheld the Law and the Prophets, the very Scripture you reject in order to hold to a false Gentile theology that includes Gentiles in the three Hebrew covenants that do not name or mention as included in these covenants between God and Israel. Believing in Gentiles being part of God's covenants with Israel makes you a fool.

23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
Acts 28:22–23.

Both Jesus and Saul taught the people from out of the Law and the Prophets things concerning Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God. But you refuse to honor God in His Word through elevating the New Covenant writings and misinterpreting them to include Gentiles which a close look into the three Hebrew covenants DO NOT INCLUDE GENTILES!

Remain a fool. I presented the Law and the Prophets, the same Law and the Prophets both Jesus and Saul taught from, but you reject.
I cannot have any further discussion with you when you reject the Lord Jesus, Saul, and the Law and the Prophets.
In these two passages above contain the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. A gospel Jesus said taught and spoke of HIM. But you reject them and He.

23 But before faith came, we [JEWS] were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Wherefore the law was our [JEWS] schoolmaster to bring us [JEWS} unto Christ, that we [JEWS] might be justified by faith.
Galatians 3:23–24.

Right there. Galatians 3:23-24 Saul describes the Law which brought a person - a Jew - to Christ.
And not just one Jew but the whole race of Jews to Christ. If you do not have an understanding of the Law and the Prophets - and YOU DON'T - then your theology based solely on the New Covenant writings excluding the Old Testament Law and Prophets is false, heresy, and I got no time for false teaching or false teachers.

See that. You're stuck on ignoring the Old Testament by elevating your false Gentile theology that had no place in any of the three Hebrew covenants.

Ephesians 2:13 (LEB) — 13 But now in Christ Jesus you, the ones who once were far away, have become near by the blood of Christ.

Gentiles justified by faith

Romans 3:29–30 (LEB) — 29 Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is he not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, also of the Gentiles, 30 since God is one, who will justify those who are circumcised by faith and those who are uncircumcised through faith.

It's rather absurd you would ignore the New Testament, in which the New Covenant is fully laid out.
And choose to hide from it, going only by the Old Testament, which does not fully lay out the New Covenant.
There's nothing wrong with the Scripture you post.
It's your understanding (interpretation) that is in error.
The writers of the New Covenant letters studied the Old Testament where they found clues as to what the New Covenant is all about and what the Holy Spirit of Promise PROMISED TO ISRAEL was doing among the Jews from the first day of His 'appearance' to today - and beyond.
It's your interpretation that is wrong because your interpretations are not grounded in the Law and the Prophets - the same "books" of the Hebrew Scripture Jesus and Saul and Apollos studied in order to understand the New Covenant era Israel found herself in.

The first clue is the Holy Spirit of Promise (prophesied by Joel) was PROMISED TO ISRAEL not to Gentiles.
So, knowing the Spirit of God was promised to Israel and only Israel and you want to say Gentiles also receive the Holy Spirit promised to Israel is your first error. To believe Gentiles receive the Holy Spirit - which is necessary for salvation - then you've already contradicted the Law and the Prophets and your doctrine is trash, in error.
THAT'S the bottom of it. You violate the prophet Joel who promised in his prophecy to Israel the Holy Spirit.
And because of this I don't have to read no further until you correct yourself with Scripture rightly divided.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:15–17.

You refuse to be corrected.

And the apostles doctrine was inspired by the Holy Spirit

and you simply ignore it
As I have said several times it is your false Gentile interpretations that is in error.
I agree with what the apostles wrote, and they wrote after having studied the Old Testament like Jesus did and like Saul did. Jesus and Saul taught the people from the Old Testament Law and the Prophets. I don't need the New Testament to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Old Testament is sufficient to lead and guide a person to Christ. And it did just that decades after Jesus ascended. Jesus didn't need no New Testament. I can find the New Covenant in its pages, and I can understand the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ simply by reading and studying the Law and the Prophets.

Jesus didn't need the New Testament letters. The Old Testament was sufficient to understand the gospel good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. If Jesus can do it then so can I. But you can't. You are blinded by elevating letters above the Prophets of Israel, including the Prophet of prophets Jesus bar Joseph.

23 But before faith came, we [JEWS] were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Wherefore the law was our [JEWS] schoolmaster to bring us [JEWS] unto Christ, that we [JEWS] might be justified by faith. Galatians 3:23–24.

Every day beginning on the day of the Feast of Harvest where and when three thousand Jews became born-again by the Holy Spirit of Promise PROMISED TO ISRAEL (Joel), and every day after that thousands more Jews became born-again by the Spirit of Promise.

You can read it in Joel 2.

You can read it in Joel 2.
Again, you failed to show error and have ignored many passages of scripture.

Further evidence that the Gentiles had been brought in is seen in that the Gentiles received the Spirit.

Was the Spirit failing to think like you that the father cannot bring anyone else into the covenant?
