Run from anyone who tells you that you have to be water baptized to go to Heaven.
Run from anyone who says that "you can lose your salvation"
Run from anyone who teaches that "Mary ascended to Heaven, as a perpetual virgin, and is now "co-equal" with Jesus regarding the "work of redemption".
Run from anyone who teaches that "Dead faith" is "dead Salvation".
Run from anyone who teaches that "Jesus started your salvation, and now you get to try to complete it"
Run from anyone who teaches that "confessing sin, then repeating it" is "Real Christianity".
Run from anyone who teaches that you are to "Live in a state of repentance".
Run from anyone who teaches that "your bible is filled with errors, and now let me show you the Greek that i can't actually read"..
Run from anyone who teaches that taking communion unworthily, can cause your death.
Run from John Calvinism and never look back.
Run from anyone who says...>"The bible is just a book".
Run from anyone who says..."you can't really know for sure if you are saved, or if you are going to heaven".
Run from anyone who says that you have to "endure to the end" if you want to go to heaven.
Run from anyone who says that Acts 2:38 is the real Gospel.
Run from anyone who teaches that "doing righteousness" is being righteous."
Run from anyone who says..>"God saved you so that you can now go and keep the Law".
Run from anyone who says that you can't get married, again.
Run from anyone who says that a literal Hell and Lake of Fire does not exist.
Run from anyone who teaches Preterism.
Run from anyone who says that Satan does not exist, or no longer has any power.
Run from anyone who teaches that We'll all be saved in the end... everyone.
The HS is in Jesus' real teachers=one single religion, not hundreds with hundreds of truths-God has 1 truth.-1Cor 1:10=Unity of thought( all of Gods 1 truth-no division= 1 single named religion, not hundreds.

Depends on the specific "Visible Church" you're talking about. But A good working knowledge of the BIBLE FOR YOURSELF is a good foundation.
1Jo 2:27 "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him".
The HOLY SPIRIT is who Jesus sent to lead into all truth. Not "St. Somebody with a "prophetic word", nor the "Blessed Virgin who can't say NO to her son" nor the "Pope" or his "Magisterioum du jour".
READ THE BIBLE!!!! If you don't you're "Fair Game" for deception, and the HOLY SPIRIT will liberally give you WISDOM if you really want it single-mindedly.
Jesus commanded his real teachers to teach ALL that he commanded--and his real teachers do just that. The rest are these-2Cor 11:12-15

Yes and Jesus teaches( as do his real teachers) Matthew 6:33- Keep on seeking-FIRST- the kingdom and his-(YHWH(Jehovah) righteousness and all these things will be added( sustenance, covering, spirituality)
The false teachers( 2 Cor 11:12-15) teach all to seek Jesus' righteousness because they do not listen to Jesus.
The bible teaches-ones name can be removed from Gods book of life- Exodus 32:33
Jesus said-One must endure until their end to be saved( says nothing about heaven) Matthew 10:22
I would say-Run from your teachers-they do not have truth.
In his opinion , and that is the problem.
With sola Scriptura all get to decide their own meaning for scripture.

Stop looking at Catholics and answer The question why Protestants all disagree on every material issue, in Mutually exclusive waye.
Protestants disagree on the meaning, method , applicability , need For priesthood on eucharisyt, baptism , whetherand what are sacraments, eligibility for priesthood, moral issues, soteriology, end times. You name it protestants disagree on it. Having no mechanism to resolve disputes they have sadly fractured into 10000 pieces,
meanwhile thousands of well informed pastors and theologians have returned to the Catholic Church because of studying history , and asking the question where is authority? The real meaning of “ tradition”, “ the pilar of truth is the church”, the “ power to bind and loose” and so on.

Protestants do disagree profoundly on every material aspect of doctrine.
They decide Polar opposites from the very same scripture.

Because protestants have no authority to appeal to on disputes they schism and fracture into thousands of bits. It’s sad to see.
It is all because of the disprovable fallacy of sola scriptura , which is disprovable logically, scripturally, historically and by the fruits which is division, all because all are empowered to decide meaning for themselves . Differently!
Yet there is but one truth, and meaning of scripture. You cannot choose what it means,
so Unless there are thousands Of holy spirits who all disageee, the founding principle of the reformation is a failure.
Sola scriptura is a man made tradition of the reformation which created all the division.. The early church did not hold protestant views.
And yet scripture tells you to listen to those who were sent, to the faith handed down, and the power Jesus gave to His church to resolve disputes, the power to bind and loose which is why scripture says the pillar of truth is the church.
Without decisions of the church you do not even know what is scripture! Even less what it means.

Catholicism can't even understand simple bible milk. The Protestants saw that they were these-2Thess 2:3 and ran. But they did not fix much either because they used Catholicism translating.= Altered to fit false council teachings.

How to discern "truth"? First step, open the Bible and read. So many don't even do that simple step.

So you left being a Protestant because of their view on the Eucharist? To me that would actually be my motivation to leave Catholicism, not that I wouldn't think there aren't some genuine Christians there. But here's why. Your organization does not allow one to partake of communion unless they belong to your church.
Scripture however exhorts each one alone to judge for themselves as to whether they should take it not some church authority.
Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves” (1 Corinthians 11:27–29).
In rejecting others from taking communion you're actually acting like you're convinced others aren't your brothers and sisters in Christ. That's way, way, way too exclusive for my liking.

Now read ignatius to smyrneans to see what apostle John - who wrote John6 - taught His disciples It meant.
That it is a Eucharist of the real flesh valid only if presided by bishop in succession.
Thats why Jesus uses the word meaning gnaw as in meat, not consume .
Its why profaning the Eucharist is so serious. It really is Him. So as Paul says, some are sick, some have died.
Many of the early fathers echo this from the first.

Here athanasius of the nicene creed cannot be clearer .

So it was taught from the beginning .
until you accept what it is, no our church will not let you have it.
And once in a while our Lord makes it visible as real cardiac tissue validated by forensic science in Eucharistic miracles.
has your Eucharist become cardiac tissue?
Its why at Fatima it was stated that our Lord was “ horribly outraged at all the indifferences, outrages and sacrileges “ against the Eucharist in the tabernacle.
To be deep in history is to cease to be protestant.
