Financial emergency prayer request—will be evicted in 5 days

We are going to be evicted from our home in 5 days if our inheritance doesn't come through.

The inheritance is substantial and has been in the works for many years, but lately it seemed to make progress, and our lawyer said she has the funds but there are complications.

I have contacted our lawyer for any help, and am awaiting a response on that.

Would really appreciate anyone's prayers out there.

Our inheritance came through ONE DAY before our final eviction day, and it was stressful. but that is just so amazing.

I know praying can sometimes feel like a thankless task and not every prayer do we see an answer in this life, but that was pretty amazing.

We would have had to have been homeless for a time and our cat would have to be adopted I don't know.

So from the bottom of my heart—thank you.

I’m unemployed since the end of August. So I e learned to praise God in the valley and to trust, lean on His provision and not be anxious as the “ bread winner “ in the family.

This all sounds more complicated since the problem has been in the courts for at least two years with accusations flying around all over the place. Pray that family would come together to aid each other. Also pray the courts will decide accurately -- with God all things are possible. Also, figure out ways to help Diserner especially with the burden of legal fees also affecting the whole inheritance from the grandfather.
I've heard of two big scenarios where people's inheritance were blocked by the people's mothers. One guy finally settled for one of the houses of an estate but gave up probably a majority of what was due him. Another guy was blind but probably mishandling money and his funds, but his mother finally was compelled to give up at least a monthly payment to take care of his needs.
