Ephesians 2:8 salvation is the gift

Believing is an evidence of Spiritual life.,
Um believing is a requirement for one gaining spiritual life.

John 20:31 (LEB) — 31 but these things are recorded in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Believing is an evidence of Spiritual life.,
One must believe before they may gain spiritual life

Ephesians 1:13–14 (LEB) — 13 in whom also you, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also when you believed you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of his glory.

Galatians 3:2–3 (LEB) — 2 I want only to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now trying to be made complete by the flesh?

John 7:38–39 (LEB) — 38 the one who believes in me. Just as the scripture said, ‘Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.’ ” 39 (Now he said this concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were about to receive. For the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.)

Acts 2:38 (LEB) — 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

It is the reception of the Holy Spirit that regenerates and makes us alive.

But you ignore scripture once again.

Believing is an evidence of salvation
Yet another disappointing ignoring of scripture for the sake of an assumed theology

Believing and hearing are an evidence of salvation. You have to see the Son spiritually to believe on Him Jn 6 40

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The natural man cant spiritually see the Son, in order to believe on Him, because he is dead

Believing and hearing precede salvation

Rom 10:9–10that if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation.

Rom 10:17Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the word about Christ.

Eph 1:13–14in whom also you, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also when you believed you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of his glory.

John 5:24Truly, truly I say to you that the one who hears my word and who believes the one who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Acts 16:31And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household!”

John 3:16For in this way God loved the world, so that he gave his one and only Son, in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life.

Mark 16:16The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who refuses to believe will be condemned.

1 Cor 15:1–4Now I make known to you, brothers, the gospel which I proclaimed to you, which you have also received, in which you also stand, by which you are also being saved, if you hold fast to the message I proclaimed to you, unless you believed to no purpose. For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised up on the third day according to the scriptures,

Thats backwards, hearing denotes being of God Jesus says Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Believing and hearing the Word of God are considered to precede salvation, as faith is seen as a necessary step to receive eternal life. This concept is supported by biblical passages that emphasize the importance of belief in Jesus for salvation.

Understanding the Relationship Between Believing, Hearing, and Salvation

The Role of Hearing

Hearing the Word of God is essential for faith to develop.

Romans 10:17 states, "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."

This indicates that exposure to the Gospel is a prerequisite for belief.

The Importance of Believing

Belief is a critical step toward salvation.

John 3:16 emphasizes that "whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This shows that faith is necessary to receive eternal life.

Sequence of Events

1. HEARING ~People must first hear the message of the Gospel. ( You know... like when Jesus sent then out to teach and preach) (Jesus sent the eleven disciples out to teach to share the message of the kingdom of God, emphasizing repentance and faith in Him. He equipped them with authority to heal and cast out demons, allowing them to carry on His mission effectively.

2.BELIEVING~ Upon hearing they can then choose to believe in Jesus the Christ. ( You know.... it is called free will.)

3. SALVATION ~ Believing leads to salvation as faith is the means through which one is saved

Hearing the Word of God leads to belief, which is essential for salvation. This sequence highlights the importance of both hearing and believing in the process of receiving eternal life

Hearing requires being of God Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Ye must have spiritual ears to hear the Spirit Rev 2:7

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Again the reference is to Jews during the earthly time of Christ

Were they actually God's they would have heard and learned from God and be given to Jesus.

Doesn't matter, its a true fact.
Sorry, but it does matter.

And it is superceded by

John 12:32 (ASV) — 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto myself.

Once again the context concerns Jews rejecting Christ during his earthly time.

Were they actually of God, they would have accepted Christ.

No it doesnt, Jesus was stating a fact as what it takes to hear Gods word, has nothing to do with ethnicity, but mans nature.

You are forgetting Matt 13:15. It is not that they are not of God but that God has denied them.

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Their free will and God found a work around when they are not acceptable.

You have to have hearing ears spiritually to spiritually hear or you cant hear Jn 8:43-44

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

All of us by nature do the lusts of the devil Eph 2:2-3

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
